Need Build Advice once more

This time, I need help with a power armor build. The one I currently have has served me well in certain situations, but I often find myself having to use resurgence pretty often. Don't get me wrong, resurgence is an extremely useful power, but I'd rather only use it when I REALLY need it.

I'm looking for a tanky power armor build that plays more like the Iron Man Mk III armor(Mainly using the beams), offers great durability, but also has a little dose of damage. This current build is lacking in both areas.

It has many defensive powers (though somewhat at the cost of not having as many free power slots): 2 ADs, Recon Circuits, BShielding, Energy Shield w/ adv, and CoPD. CoAP can be used instead of CoPD for when you want extra energy to run 3 attack toggles more often. Gears mostly for Ego, w/ some Con and Rec/End.

Sorry for the late reply. And possible necro post.

Anyway, for the most part, I like this build. But CoPD and CoAC aren't very practical for me since I've been getting knocked back a lot by enemies.

CoPD can help you w/ knockback, but blocking a KB beforehand is still good to reduce the chance that it'll happen.

i thought strength was what reduced the chances of getting knocked back? blocking is supposed to neutralize KB (and all other CC for that matter) completely - provided you block in time

Strength can help, but knocks are still chance-based (and for a PA build Str is not really an efficient stat, hence something like CoPD gives you high knock resist w/o needing Str).

As someone who used a Tank with CoPD, It's extremely useful given you stay within the circle... As a tank, you won't be doing a lot of moving anyway, as a tank is more of a Stand and Fight kind of fighter who squares off with the main villain of the group and keeps them away from the team.
