Anniversary

The Anniversary Host has a new weekly reward. This week you can get the Weapon Emblems costume pack.
Known issue: There is a bug where this item doesn't immediately consume itself. This item is safe to discard once unlocked.
In the Weekly Anniversary store this week we've added the following Archetypes: Disciple, Fist, Impulse, Invincible, Master, Mountain, Specialist, Squall and Tempest. These can be purchased for 750 Anniversary currency each.
Logging in this week will grant you the Dance Master perk and the Unusual Dance emote. This emote is account wide.
The Destroids Rise Again open mission in Millennium City now drops Anniversary Gifts and 6 event currency while the Anniversary Event is active.
Added Television head and Party Glasses costumes to the Anniversary store.
Sapphire's concert is now an open mission where you get points for using dance emotes. Just dance away! This open mission gives Anniversary Gifts as prizes.
This open mission starts when Sapphire's Concert starts, which is roughly on the hour.
Added Perks for completing Sapphire's Concert open mission. The 25 and 50 count ones reward account wide dance emotes.
Added perks for consuming the Anniversary Sodas and Cake devices.
Destroyer Robots have invaded the Renaissance Center! Speak with Drifter to get a daily mission to defeat them. This mission rewards Anniversary currency.

Powers

Updated icons for the new Electricity powers.
Fixed a couple Electricity tooltips.
Updated the tooltips on Defiance, Defensive Combo, Cleave and Mighty Kick to state that you need the passive on in order to get more than one stack of Defiant!.

Items

Fixed a bug where the new dual enhancements mods were showing up under armoring in the auction house. Re-listing them will place them in the appropriate category.
Fixed a bug where the enhancement mods were not slottable in secondary gear.
Fixed a bug where the leather material on the male Rave Mesh chest was using the wrong muscle detail.

Oh, two quick questions:
1) are the concerts staggered across zones? Can we complete one in zone 1 and join another in zone 2?
2) How do we generate points? Is it simply the number of dances we preform or is it matching the dance Sapphire is preforming?

Looks like the OM is going on exactly every 1 hour across all zones, you cannot change zone to join a different one they are all on the same timer (except if a new zone is created a few seconds before its over)

You just use dance_emotes, doesnt matter which ones

i'm getting a pretty severe drop in FPS when the weapon pack unlock item is in my inventory that goes away as soon as i discard it

i don't think that's supposed to be happening

This isn't something new. Unless changed recently, costume unlocks in an open inventory window have always sucked fps down the drain. Something to do with how the little mask overlay/check is updated in the screen draw cycle.

The patch made my hero's costume glitch, apparently.

He wears the Kinetic eye accessory and the Foxbat head wear. There was no clipping problem before today.

I'm really amused by this OM
Who knew that we would get Tech Code to keep scoring for using Emotes... :U

However, I DO FEEL that this OM should drop Tokens... even 5 something, something, only counting it for the Perk unlocks is not really encouraging

There is no way im going to do this 50 times again once i get this over with
(except of doing it 10 times again to get the Dancing Queen Title for a character)

I wonder what they might have adjusted to do that? Could it have been something with the new TV head?

It is confirmed that having the Weapon Emblems costume item in your inventory, whether open or closed, DOES cause lag on some people. It seems to vary person to person, some people can barely move, for myself, I managed to do a decent Dino before I realized I needed to ditch it. Once it is unlocked for you, trash immediately.

When you unlock the emblem, your set bonus item pops out and is left in your inventory (this is not the first costume unlock to do this). This can be fixed by unslotting and reslotting the gear, and discarding the (useless) set bonus item.

Pretty sure everything is a reference. Dancing Queen is a song as well but the achievement is Dancing Queen/King so if that can become King/Queen why couldn't Particle Man become Particle Man/Woman? I personally don't care one way or the other but if you're changing Dancing Queen to avoid sexist language maybe you should do that with your other achievements?

I've noticed that as well as the weird Red lightning appearing in offshoots when using the power.

I seem to be able to replicate it consistently on my character who uses it. She has it hued purple.

Do you have the new passive lightning device (Voltanic whatever) equiped? The lightning it sheds is red-hued.

OH WOW, and its REALLY noticeable
I did the same missions lines with a character before the patch up to Vibora Bay apocalypse, same gear (Full Aurum Heirloom) and 2 XP buffs (NO Grabs alerts) and I ended up lvl 37 instead of 40 after completing

Those titles are POP CULTURE references, they have nothing to do with the Gender

Awwwww...turns out the title for the Awesome dance is "Everything is Awesome". I was hoping it was just "Awesome" (I need that for my toon that mocks Rob Liefeld!). There isn't an "Awesome" title already somewhere else, is there?
