Knuckles, guns, and a question of form

So I wanted a street sweeping hero who brings justice with his fists but what I ended up with was this and I don't hate it at all. There are some thematic troubles but I can just adjust to that. A big problem is the form... lets take a look.

Gun Puncher - Freeform
v2.2.3-24

Super Stats
Level 6: Dexterity (Primary)
Level 10: Constitution (Secondary)
Level 15: Recovery (Secondary)

Talents
Level 1: The Predator (Str: 10, Con: 8, Dex: 10, Rec: 10)
Level 6: Impresario (Dex: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 9: Accurate (Dex: 5, End: 5)
Level 12: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 15: Boundless Reserves (Con: 5, End: 5)
Level 18: Amazing Stamina (Rec: 5, End: 5)
Level 21: Survival Training (Dex: 3, Con: 3, Pre: 3, Rec: 2, End: 2)

Powers
Level 1: Gunslinger
Level 1: Holdout Shot (Rank 2, Stim Pack)
Level 6: Sharp Shooter
Level 8: Force Shield (Rank 2, Rank 3, Force Sheathe)
Level 11: Invulnerability (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 14: Bullet Ballet (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 17: Chained Kunai (Rank 2, Inner Peace)
Level 20: Dragon Kick (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 23: Molecular Self-Assembly
Level 26: Dragon Uppercut (Rank 2, Chi Flame)
Level 29: Bionic Shielding (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 32: Masterful Dodge
Level 35: Resurgence
Level 38: Rebirth
Adv. Points: 36/36

Travel Powers
Level 6: Teleportation (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 35: Athletics (Rank 2)

Specializations
Dexterity: Combat Training (3/3)
Dexterity: Brush It Off (2/2)
Dexterity: Deadly Aim (3/3)
Dexterity: Expose Weakness (2/2)
Warden: Fortified Gear (3/3)
Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
Warden: Tenacious (2/2)
Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
Vindicator: Focused Strikes (3/3)
Vindicator: Mass Destruction (2/3)
Mastery: Dexterity Mastery (1/1)

Bullet Ballet by itself is not much more interesting that other combo attacks of the same tier, but it has lots of attacks. So if these attacks go critical they do a boatload of damage. Dragon Kick, Chained Kunai and Dragon uppercut hit pretty hard, not haymaker hard but a decent percentage thereof. I think crits there will look nice as well.

Plus Bullet Ballet gives me a way to come out of block with some bite.

But that form. I was hoping that Bullet Ballet would feed sharpshooter with furious procs but this build has become melee and that's okay but what sort of form should I get with this?

The energy unlock feels a little like a cop-out, but I am not sure what else might offer synergy here. MSA might be the best I can get.

Power is a problem. Not a huge problem, but I can definitely feel it. I am not in love with the energy shield. I wanted something without a huge visible effect like Retaliation or Antagonize but I need the power inflow from the shield and energy sheath especially when anything looks at me.

Yes, I have invulnerability. This is meant to be a sturdy build.

So, what form will help this build out and is there a better power setup that Energy Shield

I'd recommend FotT if using Bullet Ballet and a Dragon move from MA like DU. Otherwise, you can prob use KI as the EU since the MA moves would grant Rush then. You'd also want Burst Shot w/ Furious adv to pair w/ BB.

    Here's an edited version:

The build was lacking in wide AoE, so I put LT in there. Gears mostly for Dex, w/ some Con and Rec, and skips severity rating on gear when it gets Dex Mastery.
