Are you subbed? If not then you prob only have access to Archetypes (ATs) and not to Freeforms (FFs). FFs provide full customization of powers, stats, specs, and role, while ATs have most of these predetermined (though some power slots have options).
The Might Tank AT is the Behemoth. I'll give you a build for it:
Uses TClap, Shockwave, and the last hit of Defense Combo can help AoE. Demolish + Haymaker is for single targets (Haymaker is the boss-killer, while Demolish can be good if you don't want to knock a CC-able mob away). Gear mostly for Constitution, w/ some Strength for Enrage, and a bit of Rec/End for energy.
An FF build would look similar to this, but notably have more options to customize and 2 extra power slots.
Can anyone help me out with a starter build. New to the game and I love it.
Just in case you are subbed or are planning on it...here is a build for a starter Might Tank, with a touch of darkness, that is pretty optimal. Easy energy even with bad gear, massive resistance due to the spec tree selection + ebon void advantage, plenty of self healing, and 2 Active Defenses. It also has an offensive passive in case you are new to an encounter and don't wish to tank the boss.
This is not a leveling build. It's for a lvl 40....once you are there get about 200 STR and about 450-480 CON and you'll be all set until you farm out better gear.
Rotation vs group of mobs is: run in, Havoc Stomp so they get knocked up, Soul Vortex them, then either keep stomping or Haymaker each one. Can also Soul Vortex first then stomp.
Rotation vs bosses is: run in, Soul Vortex, then Haymaker.....rinse and repeat.
Once again, the above build is not for leveling. If you're looking for a leveling build take pretty much what you see above but with Aura of Primal majesty instead of Defiance and an AoE attack instead of Aggressor.
