Infernal Tank

Hoping to make a tank that can do rampages and alerts. Moderately self-healing, able to hold aggro. Mostly toe-to-toe via devour essence. Not sure how to maximize it (i.e. make good decisions about powers/advantages)

If centered around DE, I'd make ur build using either FotT w/ a Dex focus, or w/ Compassion and a Pres or Rec focus. The FotT route gives you higher crit and dps/threat w/ DE, but isn't as high on hps as the Compassion route.

Awesome. That looks exactly like what I want. Thanks Flowcyto! I was thinking of Using Pre as my 3rd SS to increase self-heals and generate more threat. Is that flawed thinking?

Pres no longer generally increases threat (like it once did before the old On Alert changes, afaik). You could add it here to boost bonus heal a bit, but if ur still using FotT and Defiance then ur main stats are still Con and Dex, so its not going to make a huge diff either way. I went w/ End as the 3rd SS just to make Supernatural Power a bit smoother to work with and to lessen energy-capping w/ Defiance.
