Wanted to roll around and make another DPS Archer build wanted to see some opinions on it.

    Main single-target rotation is tapping Explosive Arrow and using charged Sonic Arrow and/or Storm of Arrows as filler between the time-delayed explosion hit. All of ur attacks can AoE as well, and you can opt for the CC advs on them if you want (though it lowers their dmg). Gears mostly for Ego and Con.

  • And if I were to be building a CC build would I have went with Manipulator and AoRP with Int istead of ego for my SS?

    I would actually prob use AoPM for a CC archer build, since it also helps w/ energy and the stat boost can help CC strength a touch more.

    (not a strict leveling build, ofc; can use a basic attack early on and re-train at lvl 8-11)

    Can also support allies a bit. Gas Arrow, Conviction, and Storm of Arrows can proc MSA. Explosive Arrow w/ adv kept in there so taps of it can boost ur single-target dps a bit. Gears mostly for Int and Con.

    Can you elaborate on this strategy with Explosive Arrow? I'm not clear on why to take the WtK advantage; the description doesn't have much info other than the delay, so I'm assuming it doesn't add any more damage. Also why would you tap and fill instead of charging it? Thanks in advance.

    The Where's the Kaboom? advantage delays the explosion, but it treats it as if you had charged the power for the full duration; therefor, you achieve the same damage on the explosion portion of the power using a tap or full charge.

    Right, the dmg from Explosive Arrow's WtK portion (the Fire dmg) doesn't scale up w/ charge time (instead it depends on the number of targets hit), so you get the full effect of the adv from just tapping it. Explosive Arrow is low dps w/o the adv either way, but w/ the adv you effectively get the dmg of a fully charged move for just a tap- the only stipulation is having to wait ~3 sec for the explosion to go off before you can apply a new one.

    Well, Sharpshooter works w/ Furious, which Archery doesn't really have built-in atm. You can shoe-horn in Furious from a diff powerset's attack, though, but then ur relying on crits to proc the toggle while buffed w/ Furious, while Conc works under more reliable conditions. I would stick w/ Conc (Ego_Int) or Chilled Form (Ego_Dex) for now.
