Any practical way to make a "Psychic Juggernaut" character?

Came up with a cool concept for such a character, but I'm not sure how viable such a build would actually be due to the vastly different stats each tree uses.

Gameplay-wise they'd probably be mostly Might, with a few Telepathy abilities to provide the utility that Might can't, such as heals, debuffs and such. I guess that would make them a sort of "Paladin": Not as much raw power/tankiness as the Warrior/Barbarian types, but can do more besides hit things or get hit by things.

Here's a way to mix TP w/ a Might tank:

    (Unnamed Build) - Freeform

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Constitution (Primary)
    Level 10: Presence (Secondary)
    Level 15: Intelligence (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Witch (Con: 10, Int: 8, Pre: 10, Rec: 10)
Level 6: Shrug It Off (Con: 5, Pre: 5)
Level 9: Healthy Mind (Con: 5, Int: 5)
    Level 12: Diplomatic (Int: 5, Pre: 5)
Level 15: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 18: Lasting Impression (Pre: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 21: Negotiator (Int: 5, Rec: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Psi Lash
Level 1: Ego Sprites (Rank 2, Slave Mentality, Challenge!)
Level 6: Ego Sleep (Plagued by Nightmares, Nailed to the Ground)
    Level 8: Defiance
Level 11: Defensive Combo (Rank 2, Rank 3, Challenge!)
    Level 14: Compassion
    Level 17: Molecular Self-Assembly
    Level 20: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 23: Mental Storm (Challenge!)
Level 26: Demolish (Rank 2, Rank 3, Challenge!)
    Level 29: Resurgence (Rank 2)
    Level 32: Masterful Dodge
Level 35: Telekinetic Shield (Rank 2, Telekinetic Reinforcement)
Level 38: Ego Surge (Rank 2, Nimble Mind)
    Adv. Points: 33/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Constitution: Fuel My Fire (3/3)
    Constitution: Resilient (2/2)
    Constitution: Quick Healing (1/3)
    Constitution: Adrenaline Rush (2/2)
    Constitution: Armored (2/2)
    Warden: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Warden: Slaughter (2/3)
    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Sentinel: Caregiver (2/3)
    Sentinel: Sentinel Aura (3/3)
    Sentinel: Moment of Need (2/3)
    Sentinel: Wither (2/2)
    Sentinel: Genesis (1/2)
    Mastery: Sentinel Mastery (1/1)

Should be pretty tanky while providing some debuffs and background healing. Demolish is for spike dmg and its debuff, defense combo as ur main filler. Sprites as ur main AoE filler. Gears mostly for Con and Pres, w/ some Int for MSA.

Looks good, but do you think I could get away with swapping Telekinetic Shield for Energy Shield? The latter looks far better (seriously, who decided that Telekinetic Shield should light you up like a Christmas tree whenever you use it?)

You can't get all of the powers I listed if you change the end builder to Kinetic Darts, due to tier requirements. You shouldn't be using the end builder much (or at all) once you get to mid-higher levels, so I wouldn't worry much about that. TK Shield can be swapped out if you want, though,

Yeah, I realized that basically 3 minutes after I made that post >.<

Anyhow, I've been trying that build out and it's working wonders so far (though granted, I'm still in the low levels so that may not be saying much), but I have an important question:

Wouldn't Telepathic Reverb be a better Energy unlock than MSA? With Ego Sleep I can keep even a single enemy (i.e. I'm not using the "Sleep" part at all) disoriented 99% of the time, and Ego Sprites would give me plenty of ticks to trigger it. Plus this way I could swap INT for something else.

Or would that not work for end-game content?

TP Reverb triggers w/ Telepathy attacks on held/disoriented targets, not on Might's- whereas MSA will proc on anything cd related. Since ur already using cds if you want to take full adv of TPs debuffs (Sleep, MStorm to proc spec debuffs), mine as well go w/ an EU that has lighter restrictions attached.

MSA might have more criteria, but surely TPR's criteria would still be being met a lot more often?

Let's say I'm only fighting one opponent. I'm still going to be using taps of Ego Sleep whenever it's available to maintain a near-constant disorient (might be 2-3 seconds it's not active at worst) for the damage penalty it provides.

I'm also going to be maintaining at least one stack of Ego Sprites for the heal it provides, which would be hitting (and thus triggering TPR) about once per second. Double that if I do 2 stacks.

Even when you factor in that TPR only lasts 3 seconds to MSA's 6, I'm fairly certain the former would still be up more often. Plus as said before this would mean I could take a different 2nd SS.

    Am I missing something?

If you want to throw Sprites in there to make it work, then go ahead, but its more restrictive on ur playstyle if you go that route. Keep in mind that TP Reverb can also be more prone to lag- it sometimes not very responsive. I'd mainly do it if you wanted to try a 3rd SS, but then that also depends on what that other SS is and what benefit its gives over Int. Even then, its not like you need much (or any) extra gearing to that 3rd SS, as Defiance and the toggle can already grant you enough energy, depending on gear level and attacks used.
