QoL: Allow us to organize our character select screen

Greetings!

Please, for the love of all things llama, allow us to organize out character select screen. I know in requesting this it is near impossible. I feel the character select screen is soooo deep in the code, you'd need a handful of explosives with a carefully timed yet dramatic detonation sequence to get it out.

However, when I look at my character select screen, I'd like the ability to organize it. Preferably by level and of course dragging character portraits myself. It kills me that my characters are not organized by level or that I can not group characters together that have something to do with each other. It's just a quality of life thing but I think people would appreciate it.

So if it is possible, please allow us this privilege!

not really, i just keep turning pages. I know where the one si usually want are.

It's somewhat common knowledge that I don't have a lot of toons because I hate leveling them up and prefer endgame stuff u3u

I have almost two full pages, and while not having this isn't a huge deal (obviously been dealing with it for awhile) I just waaaaant it. I waaaaaant it!

I have about 5 pages worth of toons. I'd love to be able to custom organize all of them.

While a drag-and-drop interface for this would be perfect, I know that'd be a lot of ugly UI work to get right - and I'd be entirely happy with just a simple pair of "move character forward/back" buttons, or even no-UI /commands available in-game.

I'd love to be able to sort my toons by FF/AT with the following sub-options
-Alphabetical
-Date created
-Level
-Recently Used

Also something City of Heroes had at least 3 years before it's demise. It's a great suggestion.

I would not mind a section on the manage my account (Champions Online) that allows me to re-order my characters. (Theme / Super group / Any reason ).

As an ALTitis fan and Organization freak, I would LOVE that, there is a point I cannot even delete a character anymore because it would screw up the character order. Or I make character in a specific order so I can have them in the same row

however, I'm not sure if the Hub would allow that

Also, I totally agree that the code is spaghetti, thus my whole, "If you can, please." XD I feel like it would be incredibly difficult.

Also also, my fear with a drag and drop interface (although it is my preference) is if it glitches out while you are dragging, a character might accidentally be deleted. ._.

But with what kind of sauce? Furthermore, is there such a thing as cake code? Because I would also like to consume this. Preferably, immediately.

There should be a character number tag on the characters for their them to always be in the same spot on the character selection page. It may take time but I would not mind an option to consecutively swap character places on by one while I move a character up or down the list to a place I want them to be.
