Winter Event
  • Enabled the Clarence fights on PTS.
  • When Clarence is summoned by Black Harlequin, there is a chance that it could be Nightmare Clarence of Liberated Clarence.
  • Clarence's attacks have been brought up to par with other event boss standards.
  • Wireframe tells have been added to his aoe attacks.
  • Removed target caps on his attacks.
  • Adjusted some of his animations to differentiate them from his other attacks.
  • Increased Black Harlequin's HP. This just affects his outdoor HP and not the open mission version.
  • Voiceover for the new Clarence's are not in yet.
  • New character card artwork for Black Harlequin on his open mission.


Nightmare Clarence
  • Clarence has been corrupted by Qliphothic forces and his attacks are a little more...toxic. When his health dips he can summon giant mechanical claws that will target players at random.


Liberated Clarence
  • Hugging is for inferior organic life-forms. Clarence has gained an arsenal of wide area energy and weapon attacks.



Misc
  • Added Cyber Katana item to the PTS store.

    So when do we get It's Playtime for Clarence (Clarence, Nightmare Clarence, and Liberated Clarence get together for a party)?

    The weapon vanishing thing from the become devices is an fx built directly into their passives, not something that can be added to an individual costume item.​​

    I'm curious if it's possible to have an aura that just deletes a particular costume part. Given the skeleton aura I'm guessing yes, so you could have an in-combat aura of 'no back element' or 'no side element'.

    Possible to hide costumes with an aura, but that is not in the scope of this update. Please take any further discussion on this to another thread.​​

    It's nice to see variety for the same boss
    I hope each Clarence Variations come with a Perk-Title upon defeat, and a special one for all 3 of them ;)​​

    Being crushed to death by a lovable teddy bear is far more twisted than being purplfied. It was a form of execution that is now banned by every government... And wouldn't a hostile take over of a robot be more along of Mechanon?

    just so we're clear, this goes live on the 22, and if there's any bugs with the new event, which there usually are, you guys are willing to stick around the offices and fix it?

    This should have been set to go a week earlier. Fingers crossed that this time things go according to plans.

    Look on the bright side. If they screw it up and don't fix it before they leave the office they will be morally bound to extend it another week after they return and fix it :) It wouldn't be right to do otherwise!

    So is there reasoning behind Clarence getting randomly corrupted by Qliphothic forces, or is it a case of "Qliphoth is cool"?

    The invasion wasn't so long ago so there's still a lot of seepage occuring. I mean heck, they literally layered their dimension over ours twice now... clearly our dimensional borders are not very secure.

    Bug: The new nutcracker head doesn't appear to have glow enabled on the eye channels. I asked Kais if this was a bug, and she confirmed that it was...so now its posted here for reference :)
