    Level 8: Thunderbolt Lunge

Sorry about saying Thunderbolt Lunge, I, as mentioned before, meant to say Cut Down. Powerhouse hasn't had an update in a while.

You don't need an ultimate at all for a build to be fine. I may actually consider taking Ricochet Throw (or Throwing Blades) instead. From Sneak, charged RThrow's really can chew through trash mobs.

Also, what are ur main attacks here? TGM is gonna be tough to afford, and Brawler + Avenger is a bit of a weird spec combo (esp since Setup can only be consumed by non-combo melee attacks).

Here's how I'd prob build a Stealth build w/ MA and Gadgeteering stuff:

    (Unnamed Build) - Freeform

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Dexterity (Primary)
    Level 10: Intelligence (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Glacier (Con: 10, End: 10, Dex: 8, Int: 10)
Level 6: Covert Ops Training (Str: 3, Dex: 3, Con: 3, Int: 3)
    Level 9: Acrobat (Dex: 5, Con: 5)
Level 12: Healthy Mind (Con: 5, Int: 5)
    Level 15: Coordinated (Dex: 5, Int: 5)
Level 18: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 21: Impresario (Dex: 5, Rec: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Boomerang Toss
Level 1: Ricochet Throw (Rank 2, Microelectronic Controllers)
Level 6: Blade Tempest (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 8: Form of the Tempest
Level 11: Night Warrior (Rank 2, Rank 3, Silent Running)
    Level 14: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 17: Molecular Self-Assembly
    Level 20: Strike Down
Level 23: Lead Tempest (Rank 2, Tread Softly)
    Level 26: Dragon's Claws (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 29: Resurgence (Rank 2)
Level 32: Burst Shot (Taking Names)
    Level 35: Smoke Bomb
Level 38: Strafing Run (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Adv. Points: 33/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Dexterity: Gear Utilization (3/3)
    Dexterity: Power Swell (2/2)
    Dexterity: Deadly Aim (3/3)
    Dexterity: Expose Weakness (2/2)
    Warden: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: Upper Hand (2/3)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Focused Strikes (2/3)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (3/3)
    Mastery: Dexterity Mastery (1/1)

Should be able to deal very high single-target melee dmg, while still having good AoE options for ranged (RThrow for burst, LT for turtling and scattered groups). Gears mostly for Dex and Con.

To be brutally honest, my build is not about dealing damage outright as much as dealing crits. I tried the Vindicator tree, but I'm not sure what to pair it with.

What's more, I have a strange feeling that the Vorpal Blade power is what I should use, due to the damage it deals when Focused. Your opinion, as usual, is welcomed.

Well, if ur using a melee combo often, then Warden + Vind (Wardicator) will prob get you the best overall crit rates (and high crit severity).

Vorpal Blade is alright, but its better paired w/ a bleed-rupturing attack like Reaper's Embrace.
