Cause letting the game die in an obscure hole is more likely to make the game worth your vote again than, say, helping the game get better publicity so that it may get more revenue in order to get more resources and provide a better service worth of getting a vote.
That is the worst voting site I've ever seen. And every time I click on something, that logo charges out at me. Click click click. Just put them all there on one page. UGH!

I can't vote for CO, the devs have spent most of their time alienating half the player base and raising the grind to absurd levels. The site seems fairly liberal with what they consider an expansion. I'm not sure I would classify the updates we've gotten as such. When I think expansion I think about things like Agents of Yesterday or Legion.

And a bigger budget. And a built-in market like Star Trek.
I don't know, DC Online had over a $5o million dollar budget and champions is better than that product, and beating it in the polls.
DCU seems to have funneled all that budget to looking good and marketing it as a good looking game, but gypped the gameplay aspect. A lot of people I know jumped on it, and then called it a waste of time not long after. CO has it beat in gameplay (mostly) and customization, but CO could be waaaay better with that kind of budget. Heck, I'd be happy if it got the same budget as STO or Neverwinter.
Champions Online just needs one thing to set it in motion: Advertising. I don't think it has enough, and advertising can make or break a product. Even one that is many years old.

They actually do. I've seen a CO advertisements on multiple furry forums. They know who their playerbase is >:D

Putting WoW in any MMO conversation is like putting MJ in a best b-ball player discussions.
WoW all day.
WoW "Overdone" everything, and this is why they are successful.
Classses are overdone
Weapons are overdone
Costumes are overdone
Endgame is overdone
Questing is overdone
The pet system is overdone
I wish CO had the pet selection of WoW, somebody created a bird thread, that would be a neat device to have imo, summon a bird.
WOW last time I checked had over 200 Devs plus the same amount in QA.

Spec tree has been dumbed down from being able to spend across 3 trees in a class to make hybrid or specific class to 7 choices of 3 over 100 levels.
Missions have been dumbed down and rewards increased so people feel "super' faster.
Lairs have been dumbed down. I thought someone was joking about 5 minute runs but Tol Barad which has a few problem bosses. Both went down in less than 30 secs on min level group and the Main boss, I remembered what his mechanic was when standing in it and survived.
lost 45% of the player base first 1/4 of 2015. I retried it a few months ago and deserted is the term. They have had to join so many servers together.
