Does the usual Fire thing- puts up UA w/ Fireball, then channels Conflag- using Flashfire to keep CF up. Pyre isn't strictly needed, but its large pbAoE and KD adv can be nice for tackling scattered trash mobs, and it can proc Thermal reverb and Chilled Form out of combat on charge.

Would Fire Snake be worth using instead of Pyre or Rebirth?

Mercenary primaries and lvl 37-40 Unique (purple) 2ndaries from the AH tend to be relatively cheap and pretty easy to get. Can also get lvl 37-40 Rare (blue) primary gear from the AH instead of Merc on the cheap, though they are less customizable via mods (more fixed stats, less mod slots). On the lower end, I'd get enough Con and maxHP boosts on gear to have at least around 10k maxHP (though if you can go higher, that's good), put the toggle stat (Dex in this case) upto the 175-225 range, and put any leftovers into End for Thermal Reverb. Rank 4-5 mods are pretty cheap to go into mod slots, though certain rank 7s (like prob End mods) can sometimes be bought at a rather low price as well.

For 2ndary stat gems (ie. crit, Defense, etc): I'd recommend getting a primary offense piece w/ severity rating already on it and modding for crit% (gambler's gem) and/or bonus heal (sentinel's). For primary defense, get maxHP (growth) and/or Defense rating (impact) bonuses. For primary utility, get a mix of cost discount (gambler's) and CD reduction (impact) in utility gear (favoring CD reduction, unless you are having energy issues).

If I have a set of daring gear and am levelling with this build, should I get fire shield earlier or just follow the build as is?
Only lvl 15 at the moment.

If you are okay w/ the AoE coverage you already have w/ Fireball and Conflag, then you can move Fire Shield and/or Masterful Dodge further up and Pyre further down. Power order depends on if ya want more defensive or offensive stuff earlier.
