OK, would like some advice on my next build, which I think will be sorcery! And there have been a few sorc changes, so I am not up-to-date. But first, my playstyle and design constants:
I play ranged solo PvE (*never* PvP). What I am looking for is a leveling build, as I never play a character again once they hit 40. Since I solo, I play in Hybrid mode with Regen as my passive. I wear six piece Aurum Accelerator Heirloom Gear, both to simplify my life (since once I put it on I can forget about gear) and because its benefits are enormous. I avoid all “realistic” powers like guns and arrows, opting instead for ray, beams, and other effects that look way cooler to me. Ultimately, I’m looking to be survivable and high damage output.
The three stats I am likely to take no matter what are EGO, INT, and REC:
- I always take REC as I loathe having to use my builder too often, plus I like a great alpha strike.
- EGO makes sense almost always for me given my ranged damage preference
- Often I also bring in DEX for Critting, since I just finished a build that focused on Crits, I’d like to skip DEX this time.
- CON isn’t needed I’ve found with my armor and Regen vs leveling missions.
- STR/PRE aren’t relevant to my characters generally.
- END is less preferred by me than REC, and having both is often a waste.
- That leaves INT, which via cost reduction can be pretty effective. I also like its cooldown reduction. I am concerned with how hard the nerf bat hit it.
So given all that, we’d be looking at a Sorcery build using EGO, INT, and REC. Is there a great build using something other than EGO as primary, or should I pretty much stick to Ego Primary?
However, the REALY big question is, given all the new (and old) Sorcery powers, which choices are great for levelling, hard hitting, and have a decent amount of razzle dazzle – given all the above? What levelling build should I use?
Thanks!

Gears mostly for Int, since it fuels Con and Conjuring. Soul Beam is the main hard hitter, but the AoE could be different (went w/ Skarn's for its wide conal coverage and stun adv). I went w/ INT/Dex/Rec cause Dex's crit is really good w/ Int's Expertise, and Int PSS still has Detect Vuln and can boost stun duration w/ Battle of Wits a bit.

First of all, I noticed you did your build in http://aesica.net/co/herocreator.htm instead of http://powerhouse.nullware.com/powerhouse.html - are there reasons I should know to prefer HeroCreator over the Powerhouse, in terms of running builds?
Also, I notice you chose Conjuring over Supernatural Power for Energy Unlock. Why is that? What would be the ramifications of going the other way?
For my other questions, I'm going to build your suggestion in the PTS server and run some tests first, thanks for giving me your ideas to play with.
Supernatural Power only procs when using Supernatural attacks (from Bestial or Infernal SN), which would not be most of them in a Sorcery build (if you have any in there at all- the only Infernal SN attack I'd prob normally consider for a Sorc build atm is the Wisp).
