So this mod lists that it boosts 'Sorcery Offensive' powers... which powers does that actually cover now? Everything in the tree, or just the 'Arcane Sorcery' stuff or what? Does it, for example, work for Darkness powers?

Hmmm... okay... I'd not even considered it was just that... it seems a really non-useful way to word it then, instead of just saying 'magic damage'...

well, it's kinda the same thing.

Not really - 'magic' is a specific damage type, then there's powers listed as 'Arcane Sorcery' or 'Infernal Sorcery' and the like, which have 'Sorcery' in the name, but don't necessarily do 'magic'-type damage... then there's the recent rejigging of the various magical powers into one group - are they all 'Sorcery Offensive' powers? Plus what's the game definition of an 'offensive' power? Anything that does damage? Maybe... maybe not... maybe it's 'obnoxiously rude' powers? I don't know - that's why I'm asking for the clarification: what exactly would this mod buff?

Btw, is SoT any good? I have farmed tons of these for my magic toon, but I don't know how the percentage works, exactly.

"XXXX Offensive Powers" mean powers in XXXX power set that do direct damage; they must be tagged as an attack, such as Ranged AoE attack, Melee attack, etc.

This means powers that do damage as a side effect (such as the electricity block), through a summons (such as Command Animals), or from an effect (like Hydra) do not benefit from mods that boost XXXX Offensive Powers. I'm not sure about energy builders--they sometimes are treated differently than other powers.

Sorcery is no longer broken down into different categories, so all Sorcery powers that are tagged as attacks work.

For Sorcery, the boost goes to Eldritch Blast, Skarn's Bane, Soul Beam, Star Barrage, Invocation of Storm Calling, Binding of Aratron, the sorcery Ultimate (can't remember name), Hex of Suffering, Pillar of Poz. Think that's all of them.

Some things that do NOT count for Sorcery Offense: Sigils, Summons, primal advantage on Eldritch Shield, Ebon Lightning from Aura of Ebon Destruction.

It's pretty important to not confuse "damage type" with "framework." Sorcery/Magic might be a bad example because I don't think Magic damage exists outside the Sorcery framework, but in other frameworks, both Fire and Heavy Weapons attacks can deal "Fire" damage. There's a few unarmed attacks that deal Dimension damage, Crushing damage is in force, wind, as well as several melee frameworks, and so forth. Look at abilities you have or want to use, and if you see something like "deals x Magic damage" then it should benefit from that core. As mentioned by someone else though, summoned pets (sigils, controlled pets, uncontrolled pets, etc) do not benefit. Only abilities where you are the source of the attack.

Eldritch Blast: Yes, because you specifically are firing off the ability.
Sigils: No, because the sigil is technically dealing the damage, not you.

    ...and so on.
(Hopefully) Useful CO Resources: HeroCreator (character planner), Cosmic Timers/Alert Checklist, Blood Moon Map, Anniversary Cat Map, and more (eventually, anyway).

[Cloak of Infinite Planes] - device, l believe it deals Magic Damage, but doesn't count as sorcery offense, so Mod won't benefit this.
