Looking for an up-to-date and optimal Power Armor build, please. :)

Hi, all. :)

Thanks to the Anniversary Event + Flowcyto's builds, I got both of the FF slots I had to 40 and couldn't resist subbing again. My PA toon was leveling waaay back in the day on one of Pulseweaves builds and I'm looking for an optimal update after all of the changes in the past, oh, few years. LOL

I'm not really worried about theme other than using force bolts as an energy builder...just looking for a great balance of damage and resilience for alerts and eventually end game stuff. Thanks in advance. :)

    PA's basic playstyles haven't really changed much, imo. Here's a PA build that uses a defensive passive + Hybrid role to be pretty tanky, but also uses all 3 slots to have good dps for a Hybrid:

    Ofc, you can change the passive, role, and/or SS's to focus more or less on survival vs. dps. Last 2 power slots can be w/e. Gears mostly for Int and Con for this version (though some Dex is good for the crit%).

    Thanks, Flow. This is just what I was looking for. :)

    I'm sure you've heard this more than a few times, but thank you for all the effort you put into posting builds for us returning players, current players, and newbies. If it wasn't for your builds, I would've thrown up my hands upon returning last week, uninstalled, and gone back to STO. Now, I'm subbed again for the first time in years. In fact, just a couple of days ago, someone in my CoX channel said that he wished that there was a Zen Donation button just because of your help. lol

    Again, thank you for all your contributions. They're appreciated and help make it much easier to give the game a(nother) try. :)

    Finally got some time to play this toon and the build has been great. Almost TOO tanky with Invuln, so I threw it into a Hybrid build slot for later and replaced it with Kinetic Manipulation in a Ranged build slot since she's basically an all-ranged 'War Machine' build with crushing dmg weapons.

    I fiddled around a bit with CoAP and, even though it looks ridiculous with this toon, the endless amount of blue IS pretty tempting from a laziness standpoint. lol Thanks again, Flow. :)

    For a dps focus, I'd prob go w/ Targeting Comp or Quarry (if using Int) for Ranged PA. Ofc, if you stick to Hybrid ya can always pick up AoPM instead.

    It's not a very mobile build as it mostly requires on staying on the circle to fuel the ridiculous energy cost of having Mini Gun, Micro Munitions, and Plasma Beam running. But it has an enormous DPS, higher than what a soldier AT can put out once you get the hang of it. And tactical missiles is good for when you need to stay at 100 range, or need to move around a bit. I bring this build to Cosmics and it does pretty well...Just be careful with palliate if you decide to use it on someone.
