Please tell me I'm missing somewhere that I can use the Anniversary Favor I just spent *almost* an entire month grinding to acquire.
The announcements for the anniversary event all indicated that it would last the entire month, which obviously is not yet over. Now I'm logging on to find out that the event has ended with zero advance warning, and it's looking like I've wasted 28 days of effort to acquire some costume pieces. Surely that's not right, though, because no thinking company would treat its customers that way.

Adding insult to injury, DONT open any anniversary boxes you may still have. They don't give out any favor. You may get items, but most of them will result in, "You used Anniversary present" with absolutely nothing to show for it.
Talk about leaving the stuff for the last minute...

That's been up all month, too. Regardless, the better thing to do, instead of expecting people to figure out which of two conflicting reports from 4 weeks ago was accurate, would be to give a heads up beforehand. It would've taken literally 10 seconds for a dev to make a post on the forums last night saying, "Hey, by the way, we're turning off double XP and deleting the anniversary vendor tomorrow morning. Plan accordingly!"
