How to type symbols in bios?

Is there any way to type symbols, such as the 'trademark' or 'registered' logos, in our bios? I've tried everything I could find in a Google search....html method, java method...copy/paste the symbol....nothing works. At best I get '???' in the space where the symbol should be because the game doesn't recognize the code. Has anyone cracked this dilemma??

Sorta of. Only ASCII characters 32 through 255. To access these, you can type ÿ for character 255.
