on a completely unrelated note: i see several of wolf/dog peoples and even a rat ... kitties are sorely under represented in millennium city! shame on you, champions, shame! (no offense meant to anyone, just a quick observation made for silliness's sake.)

... your comment reminds me of the second-to-last episode of the teen titans cartoon, where at the end, dr. light (i think that's his name ... i could be wrong) is coming out from robbing a place just to face the entire teen titans and all their allies ... he was all ... O_O

Hey guys, new update is up with three more heroes!
Sorry about the slow pace lately. Back and shoulder pain have been a barrel of friggin' laughs. I hope to post at least a couple more characters by tomorrow.
Also, you'll notice the characters look smaller in the preview. They haven't gotten smaller, the canvas has gotten larger. I enlarged the background to accommodate this, but it looks stupid now because they're on like an eight-lane street and they all look so tiny. So I'll be doing another one. At any rate, I think this is the final size of the poster, 26"x39". This looks like it'll fit every hero quite comfortably without too much overlap on each hero. I do plan on doing another one where the heroes are more bunched-together, as I think it'll look better that way.
Ah, Smackwell. I had to readjust the colors on the belt for Anatari after realizing that it didn't quite unify with the rest of the costume. I'll put something up with the new belt colors later.
Edit: Here you go. It's just a belt color pallete change, nothing too big.
So real life called me away to keep up with daily updates, but I'd like to just say... *SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE* This is looking amazing! And Bunni looks perfect! I'm seriously gonna want to print out a legit poster if this to frame. If Cryptic knew what was good for them this would should be part of the official art. We all know how awesome our characters are, but to showcase the huge variety of customization that's offered via Champs would blow potential players minds!!
Once this is done you've earned a nice vacation to recover lol!

Bit of a non-update-update. I have a few characters penciled, but I have a deadline for one of my comics where I have to fix some stuff before it can go to publishing. Not sure how long that will take, maybe a day or so, but yeah just giving a heads-up.
Like I don't already have First Wave preset on my car's satellite radio. And of course, Adam Ant approves of this message. It harkens back to a time before Malcolm McLaren stole the rest of his band to form Bow Wow Wow.

The devs should put this as one of the main loading screens when it's finished If you don't mind them using it.

Heya, first two links are broken. I'm getting a 404 error on them. I'll need them to start on your character. I'll skip for now. (Exitus is done though.)
Payment made! Character One is Jake, my Oc Power Ranger. He uses athletics and ninja leaves for TP, so either one works (his ability to turn invisible, hence being called Ghost Ranger). I was wondering if you could have him be half civilian and half ranger with a flying kick or just his arms crossed?
Hey dude, just want to clarify, what did you have in mind with the half civilian/half ranger look? Like, helmet off, or with a jacket on too? Let me know. I'll be skipping him (but spot saved) until I know more.
If you guys are wondering, I haven't checked all the pictures and descriptions and stuff yet, because the info/pics do me no good until I'm actually about to draw the character because there's so much to take in. So, sorry if this puts a delay on your characters. But as soon as I get the info I need, the character will be drawn and inked.

It's possible, but unless it's something that he does (like Ratty said, it's in mid-activation) then it might look weird (that kind of thing is usually reserved for stuff like posters featuring that character or covers). But it's your call! However you want to do it, is cool with me.

Disappointing crapdate instead of a great update. I've gotten pencils done, but it's been so hot most of the day that my computer has been burning up. (My main computer died months ago, and I'm not working on my Surface Pro). It doesn't have much in the way of ventilation, so it just sits there and stews in its juices and I'm afraid it might get damaged. Like, literally, burning hot to the touch. So I put inking on hold today.
I'm gonna have to buy a big-**** fan if this weather continues. Sorry for the delays it's caused. If I can't get any inks done by tomorrow I'll post at least sketches.
Oh geeze, thats no fun. I understand where you're coming from- lost a fan on my previous notebook and it sat for 9 months on a frying pan of blue ice everytime i wanted to use it so it didnt cook itself, before I could save up for a new one. Seemed to work though
Woop! Had a nice, breezy day today, because California weather is stupid and can't make up its mind. So my little Surface didn't catch fire, and I was able to ink up a few characters. Update is in the first post!

Dude. Just Wow. Seeing more characters in this pic makes me giddy. I'm telling you, this is a piece of Champs history. As a colorist for fun I cannot wait to see when you start adding your colors! And props to mother nature for allowing you to get more work done lol

Awesome! Perfect pose for Exi! Im glad i decided on that. It's very fitting, I'd say make the wings bigger though, they dont look like they would be able to lift at that size to me. His halo is Spiked large so it'd have an extra half circle in it.

Oops! Since I draw all the characters on the same canvas, I often turn off layers if a character is in front of the one I'm currently drawing. Looks like I just forgot to turn the layers back on. No worries, she's still right where she was before. I'll make sure everyone's layers are on in the next update.
I should note that Jill Ibis has an eyepatch across her right eye (the one covered by her hair) which wasn't particularly obvious in the screenshots I provided so that's my bad (unless you already know this and are just holding off until it's time to colour because of her facepaint - I don't know the first thing about how to art, oops). Otherwise, I love it!

Hopefully the weather holds! Man, it's the worst. I personally don't deal well with heat, and now my computer doesn't also, so it's friggin' tragedy!
