My Invincible AT characters costume

So heres my Invincible AT character. Noticing the AT's powers resembling Iron Man i wanted my character to have a Hulk Buster like costume. However as you'll notice i used Hulks colors instead of Iron Mans to avoid getting my character deleted for copyright

Funny how it winds up looking like Lex Luthor's power armor instead.

Anyway, if you want some suggestions on beefy power armor, check these out.

Try using a separate color setting for the tights parts, (lock them so that they don't change with the rest of the costume). It's a good place to use something neutral, like black white, grey, or a desaturated color. Leather might be a better material for some colors. Monochrome value gradients can produce a good effect with a banded texture.

For the attached parts (main color scheme):
I don't think any of these will cause an undesired resemblance to prominent IPs.
    • blue and gold
    • green and gold
    • purple and gold
    • white and gold
    • reddish brown and gold
    • orange and cyan
    • orange and green
    • orange and sea foam
    • white, orange and black
    • green and white
    • green and silver (try the bottom of the sea foam, cyan and blue columns)
    • blue, burgundy or maroon, silver
    • indigo and plum
    • indigo, plum and crimson
    • indigo and crimson
    • pink and blue
    • pink and violet
    • pink and indigo
    • pink and sea foam
    • desaturated cyan and blue
    • desaturated cyan and saturated cyan
    • khaki, olive and brown
    • khaki, olive and black
    • khaki and green
Monochromatic schemes also work. It won't be as striking as having multiple colors, but the risk of looking hideous is much lower, too.

You might have to do some research and experimentation to find some of these on the swatch. They aren't always found in intuitive places.

Trademark violations are judged on the Rule of Three - appearance, name, bio. If two of the three are identical (or nearly so) to a trademarked character, the toon is in violation. In this case, so long as your character's name is nothing like "Tony Stark" or "Iron Man", and the bio isn't of a reformed-alcoholic inventor who first developed his armor while a captive and uses it to keep his heart from being pierced by embedded shrapnel, you should be okay.

Standard Iron Man Is still pretty beefy by most comic standards. The movies like to bust up his suits quite a bit, but in the context of the comics, his armors typically put him on par with the strongest Avengers. He's taken hits from Mljnor to the face, fought the hulk, and survived nuclear strikes.

Edit: I would say his armors have gotten continously more overpowered since the 1980s.
