The Sturdy Celestial Healer

Who says you have to be squishy to play a healer? The Celestial set is designed with high-constitution in mind. But I see very few people take advantage of that in-game. This build below combines strong healing with personal survival. Basically the Con Primary + Protector + AORP + Sentry Aura makes for one tough healer.

PowerHouse   (Link to this build)

Name: Sturdy Celestial Healer

Archetype: Freeform

Super Stats:
Level 6: Constitution (Primary)
Level 10: Intelligence (Secondary)
Level 15: Presence (Secondary)

Talents:
Level 1: Divinity
Level 6: Diplomatic
Level 9: Shrug It Off
Level 12: Healthy Mind
Level 15: Negotiator
Level 18: Lasting Impression
Level 21: Quick Recovery

Powers:
Level 1: Radiance
Level 1: Illumination (Brilliance)
Level 6: Celestial Conduit (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 8: Aura of Radiant Protection (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 11: Compassion
Level 14: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 17: Molecular Self-Assembly
Level 20: Ascension (Rank 2, Judgment)
Level 23: Iniquity (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 26: Masterful Dodge
Level 29: Redemption (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 32: Pyromancer's Blades (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 35: Ritual of Radiant Summoning (Rank 2, Unbound Ritual)
Level 38: Rebirth

Travel Powers:
Level 6: Flight (Rank 2)
Level 35: Acrobatics (Rank 2)

Specializations:
Constitution: Fuel My Fire (3/3)
Constitution: Tough (3/3)
Constitution: Resilient (2/2)
Constitution: Armored (2/2)
Sentry: Fortified Gear (3/3)
Sentry: Precise (3/3)
Sentry: Sentry Aura (3/3)
Sentry: Persevere (1/2)
Sentinel: Caregiver (3/3)
Sentinel: Sentinel Aura (3/3)
Sentinel: Moment of Need (2/3)
Sentinel: Genesis (2/2)
Mastery: Constitution Mastery (1/1)

A Few Details:

Aura of Radiant Protection: AORP + Sentry Aura also provides amazing amounts of defense to your team in Support Role.

Celestial Conduit: Functions as both an attack and a team-heal. Works very well with Illuminate (See below).

Illuminate(w/Brilliance) + Celestial Conduit: Illuminate with brilliance will cause CC to bounce from target-to-target like a beam of light off of a mirror. Effectively turning CC into an AoE.

Illuminate(w/Brilliance) + Ascension (w/Judgement): Another awesome interaction with illuminate. When Ascension is clicked all illuminations within 100ft will be consumed and trigger a burst heal.

Conviction: A fast acting heal that triggers MSA.

Iniquity: A strong heal that costs HP and not energy. Don't be afraid of using this. You have more than enough HP to fuel this power without endangering yourself. Iniquity + Conviction is a nice pairing. Though your HP will more than likely recover before you even get a chance to click Conviction.

Pyromancer's Blades and Radiant Summoning: Pyro Blades act as click-n-forget source of dps. The Radiant Summon acts as a back-up healer.

Utility Powers: The rest of the build is made up utility powers. MD is a great emergency button. Rebirth and Redemption are your self and team resurrect abilities.

    Specs & Stats:

The CON primary may seem like an odd choice for a healer. However, in CO we are not tied down to traditional trinity memes when it comes to making our builds. Having CON as the primary provides this build with tank-level hitpoints. Which means you will be better equipped to survive the aggro you generate as a healer.

The Presence secondary will fuel your heals nicely. While Intelligence helps with cool downs and energy management. Intelligence also pairs nicely with the Conviction/MSA combo to give great energy returns.

Sentry Aura + AORP + Sentinel Aura + Tough + Armored + CON Mastery= One very tough healer.

    Gear:

Honestly I would gear mostly for Crit Chance, Crit Severity, and Super Stats. Crit and Crit Severity benefit Conviction and CC. This means your overall DPS, team heals, and self-healing will be stronger. Purples or Armadillo Gear should be fine for secondaries.

    Conclusion

This build should be ideal for tough content with the right gear. It has all the powers necessary to provide defense and heals for a team. The pet powers could easily be replaced with Mindful Reinforcement and Protection Field. Or you could swap in a block like Force Shield w/advantage.
I honestly wish something like this existed as a premium AT.

Looks solid overall. If ya really want more HP as a healer (aside from switching to AoPM, which is counter-productive to being tougher), ya can consider Protector's Bulwark. Sentry is good for the aims of the build, though.

Oh yeah Protector is a great choice! And you stack more defense as well. If you want to be tankier probably CON/Protector/Sentinel while CON/Sentry/Sentinel is more team oriented.

Con primary also means you can take Growth Core for Offense & Defense to get even more Health... since in Offense a Growth Core will give you more of your PSS (Con). And ofcourse as a Defensive core it just gives +Health

    Is growth core a mod?

Yea, Growth gems are a type of mod that can go into gear w/ mod slots on it, and the stat they boost changes depending on the gear type its slotted it. Its all explained adequately on their tooltip. Other gems that behave like this, but grant diff stats, are Impact, Sentinel, and Gambler. They tend to be rarer random drops from mobs, found in gathering nodes, or as questor recognition rewards, though its prob easiest to just search for them on the Auction House (clear the level ranges and go to the 'Mods' category).
