Hi all,
Looking for some critique/advice here on My TK build with some Force powers and a dash of Darkness.
I think it's good for a solid ranged build with some defense hopefully would be able to hold it's own well in the long run and maybe dare I say PvP. I've been reading guides by others and made this (see below); I wanna give credit to flowcyto, Veiran, Broderna Fluff, Manhunter.

Archetype: Freeform

Super Stats:
Level 6: Ego
Level 10: Constitution
Level 15: Intelligence

Talents:
Level 1: The Invincible
Level 6: Ascetic
Level 9: Academics
Level 12: Healthy Mind
Level 15: Wordly
Level 18: Quick Recovery
Level 21: Negotiator

Powers:
Level 1: Force Bolts (Energy Refraction)
Level 1: Telekinetic Assault (Rank 2, Explosive Potential)
Level 6: Force Eruption (Rank 2, Gravitational Polarity, Challenging Strikes)
Level 8: Ego Form (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 11:
Level 14: Concentration
Level 17: Molecular Self-Assembly
Level 20: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 23: Force Cascade (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 26: Force Shield (Force Sheathe)
Level 29: Ebon Ruin (Rank 2, Paranormal Paranoia)
Level 32: Ego Surge (Nimble Mind)
Level 35: Unbreakable
Level 38: Rebirth

Travel Powers:
Level 6: Flight
Level 35: Teleportation

Specializations:
Ego: Force of Will (2/2)
Ego: Insight (3/3)
Ego: Follow Through (2/3)
Ego: Sixth Sense (3/3)
Protector: Fortified Gear (3/3)
Protector: Bulwark (2/2)
Protector: Defensive Expertise (3/3)
Protector: Resolute (2/3)
Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
Vindicator: Focused Strikes (3/3)
Vindicator: Mass Destruction (2/3)
Mastery: Ego Mastery (1/1)

So for the few points I wanna focus on in the build, first of all I took force bolts w/ energy refraction(why the advantage idk) could've also just taken kinetic bolts.
For level 6 just took force eruption could've put telekinetic burst but I felt force eruption just fit the concept imo a tad bit more even though teams will probably hate me for it  I mean i have no problem switching it back to tk burst if it's better.
Level 11 idk what to put there, maybe i should move a power up into that slot, put my block replacer there instead idk hopefully you guys/girls can help me out with that.
For my block replacer I took force shield with it's advantage for the energy return; Let me know if theres another I should take over force shield because of the energy return from concentration.
I took ebon ruin for the debuff advantage I also could've taken Telekinetic Maelstrom (love that move).

That's what I got so far Is it good or bad, what should I do for it to be viable in pvp or what specializations to take to make it even better or whatever, appreciate the help

Ebon Ruin no longer debuffs Paranormal dmg, so I'd prob pass on it now. ERuin currently is more like Darkness's main sustained single-target dps option, rather than a debuffer and/or Trauma applicant. Can replace that w/ TK Maelstrom if you like.

Ego Reverb + Ego Form works well for pure TK Ranged builds, but here if ya wanna use Force Cascade and MSA then I'd get Force Geyser as an easy MSA trigger, and prob consider AoPM and Hybrid role for the extra energy (+INT PSS). It'll kinda depend on how often ya wanna use FC, though. If its sparingly then you may not need to change much.

Regardless of what path you choose, you'll prob want to include TK Lance in there, to utilize built up Ego Leech stacks.

Protector is also not really an ideal spec choice here. I'd get Guardian instead. Force Eruption's Grav Polarity also isn't really worth the trouble, imo; the dmg bonus the small well gives is in the earliest/passive layer, so its not very strong. Force Shield/Sheath is a fine block to keep, though.

Stick with Force Eruption, since you can use it while held. That is a very useful function.

If you take TK lance, you might want Kinetic Darts instead of force bolts--you will occasionally fire off darts in between attacks, possibly getting Ego Leech stacks.

Force Cascade wipes energy forms after use, including many passives, like Ego Form.
As @flowcyto said, you might be better off with AoPM.

Yea I forgot that go Form was also considered an EF in this game. In that case, if you wanted to stick w/ an offensive passive and the dps role (vs. AoPm + Hybrid), then I'd prob get Quarry and change from an Ego-focus to an Int-focus. That or go w/ Night Warrior and maybe just not use Sneak if its not thematic.

Thanks alot for the different points I tested out each piece of advice you both gave me and I had to say, I was enjoying the Hybrid role(AoPm) the most. Pretty much ended up dropping FC, switching back and forth between force bolts and kinetic bolts, and swtiching MSA for EReverb, saw myself running mostly pure TK ranged which I tryed to avoid at first (felt to much like I was playing an AT) but after seeing how it was; I had no complaints.

There's no AT that uses TKA and/or TK Lance, so it shouldn't feel like playing any of them :x The fact that only FFs can use those powers is even more reason to try them out if you have access to FF's- the other fact that they are good dps powers is an added perk.
