NPCs out of place: Corporal Harrison

Hi everyone,

Something I just realized as I was entering City Center from Ren Cen was the fact that Corporal Harrison and his officers look like they got inadvertently swapped with a Purple Gang mob placement-wise. Look at the following picture:


Shouldn't Corporal Harrison, the other two officers, the respawn point, and the Onslaught turrets in the ground (all shown on the left) actually be on the street corner with the Police Station? (on the right) Whereas the Purple Gang mob should be on the opposite street corner (where the police officers are now).

This would make way more sense, and still keep the officers far away enough from both the Purple Gang mob and the Viper troops (to the east) so as not to draw agro. It would also keep citizens walking right in front of a Police Station from panicking and running away at the sight of the Purple Gang members. lol :p

    Hunh, never thought about that, but yeah, especially since there are purple in the block that Harrison is standing on.

    If this forum had thumbs up capability I'd give this post a thumbs up. I've never really noticed that before, heck I didn't even notice that was supposed to be a police station for the longest time, but yes the two seem really out of place.

    I'm pretty sure this is mostly due to the fact that at some point some generic buildings were given a facelift and turned into police stations. And obviously spawn points weren't changed. There's a Socrates mission somewhere between level 20 and 30 that points you at a Police station that then transfers you to a specific museum instance.

    Did they make some of them fire stations? It just occurred to me that there's a fire station in a location that's crawling with purple... also it has a mysticism crafting node by the door.
