Alright, I finally saw this a few nights ago (yea, late to the party), and while I will say, it gave me a few chuckles, I have to be blunt about it; it was just way too over-hyped and did not deliver at all, still missing the beats. It was an average movie at best, and I have to say it, the Deadpool game cut scenes would have made for a better movie.
I like that they got a lot of characters right for once, thanks to Ryan's insistence, such as Colossus, but Deadpool himself still feels like a huge miss to me. It's like they are still reigning in his character and didn't dive into the fact he is suppose to be a self aware parody character. I mean yea, they did a few fourth wall breaking moments, but they were so far and few between it almost felt like they just did them out of obligation instead of because of that is who Deadpool is.
I don't feel the movie was bad, I just don't feel it wasn't this spectacular piece that many reviews and fans seem to make it as. And before people say it proves the rated R concept is a good movie, uh, we've had movies like that for a long time, and hell there is this show on Netflix called Daredevil, been doing that since last year as well, so I don't buy that bunk.

And that bit with Wade sitting in the dark crying...gave me the feels. Did not expect that in a Deadpool movie.
