Server Crash?

  The login server won't let me in at all.

  Yep seems to be a system wide crash. Waiting for it to come back up as we speak. Hope Cryptic/PWE gets on it quick.

  Server Status is marked as down (red dot). I get the message "connection timed out" rather than "cannot connect to log-in server."

  This is weird. In the last 2 years of game play, I have NEVER had this happen. No warning or anything. Think its an attack or something?

  Nah, DDoSes usually don't do that. There's a chance the servers simply had a massive crash (this can be caused by PWI losing power where they are), or the Devs had to pull CO down for an emergency fix. There was a patch today.
