I'm disappointed by the turnout from the Mutants and Masterminds community. I was under the impression it's larger than Hero's, but pledges for the M&M books are lagging far behind those for the Hero version, and behind Savage Worlds.
M&M community may be larger than Hero, but what matters is how many M&M players are interested in settings other than their game.
Though I'd argue with perception of it being larger. CU was in print for decades. M&M is a younger game. It might sold better than one edition of CU, but a book for Hero system may be useful for people playing older editions as well.
And that's only one of three chapters for this book, two others not being even related to M&M in theme.
Unlike Hero or Savage Worlds, M&M is not focused at being universal for every campaign.

Long-time Champions PnPers know exactly what I mean.
Please pledge if you're interested.
