Two experiments in animated armour. The first is as empty as possible, as if the armour is haunted or simply sentient and able to move under its own power. Because it relies on floating pieces of metal, naturally the holoforce set is ideal, as it comes with floating bits of metal as standard. To achieve the empty arms and legs I used the jackets category with a non-jacket chest wear and long skirts with the wrong type of legs and a non-skirt clothing. The chest texture is the unlockable alien skin, which looks a bit like armour when given the metal texture, but could easily be replaced with a standard textured tights job.
Plasm is a lot simpler, using as he does ghost textured arcane tattoos with standard pieces of armour on top. I've used the 'bulky' chest wear armour to help give him a stockier, less muscular physique, which would be appropriate for a creature made of translucent green goop. He also uses the Project Clockwork face mask and shoulders, and Holoforce armbands.
I had/have a character Forever Knight (HW Build) I just could not make a costume I was happy with. Thank you for this post. I now have a costume that fits the concept. (Now to just work on the build)
