Power Armor (targeting Arc)

will this issue ever get addressed/fixed, im aware some will say it's "working as intended" which may be true, but at the same time is utter BS. why, because i can not attack anyone to my direct left or right. least viable power set for pvp w/o a hold, due to this fact as well as it makes pve difficult at times, a 90 degree arc would be nice, a shoulder to shoulder whole frontal attack. tbh, why not just label all PA attacks as "cone" due to the arc we get 45 degrees of power down basically...

    Far as I know, the problem for PA targeting arcs mostly has to do with the animation breaking, since unlike normal attack powers, power armor doesn't force any particular body alignment, and in fact it's technically possible (though rarely useful) to be shooting in three directions at once.

    It's annoying in PvP, but there are plenty of powersets that don't work very well in PvP.

    You can almost negate the problem by changing the facing controls. I know for sure that having all of the facing options set to "off" will work, but I think some other combinations work too. It should allow to keep your toggles running when your target gets knocked, or you are jumping around.

    If you don't use "Always face forward" it will be very difficult to control vehicles, but I think it's one of the settings that keeps you from tracking your target.

    It's not clear what you mean by that.

    Regarding the question about a fix, don't count on this getting changed to suit your needs. Don't be surprised if it does, however.

    It won't change, because the animations don't work without targeting arcs.

    Cryptic doesn't want people firing their forward facing attacks behind them. It looks terrible.

    better than one of the lightning ones, which is supposed to be 45 degrees but sometimes fires 90 degrees and to your side.
    that means firing at the boss in recruiting drive, I have hit all the mobs along the right hand side but not the Boss
