Hudson City vigilante

Alright, so after getting the nightstick from resistance I thought I might mess around with a swordsman character for a little while, maybe even play up some "dark champions" elements, since my current night avenger is more linked to a project me and my friends are working on (with some minor name changes to avoid legal hot water) regardless, I play around with a concept of using a mythical boogie man rather than a kind of living animal for some daredevil inspiration.

[img]Ghoul%20champions%20newest%20attempt_zps81tirlk5.png

It came out nice and I'm kinda proud of it (although I kinda wish I could come up with a better name then "Ghoul" but apparently it uses costume pieces I don't own (It says I own them, but I'm pretty sure it's a liar because I never paid for anything) I'm debating putting down some money for costume pieces, especially if it'll be paying a whole pack when I'm going to end up using about two or three parts.

Do any of you guys think you can help me come up with a decent alternative? I't can involve different thematics than the whole "skeleton" look (just going for general "spook" or "monster" type thing) though I am kinda partial to the colors (mostly the purple with the glowy green eyes).

Please excuse the atrocious grammer, as it turns out I can't, or simply do not know, how to edit a post after I have posted it.

I put this together. It uses a lot of newer costume pieces. Don't know if you have them. I made this on my Gun Toting vigilante, hence the guns. Might give you some inspiration for a new costume, though.

Here's another concept. I made this one with my dual blades ninja, so you can see the night sticks on him. It sticks more to the skeletal boogeyman theme.

I was thinking more along the lines of "Fright Knight."

Alright, so Here's another crack at it, With use of free costume parts instead of paid ones.

Tell me what you guys think? Any thoughts on how It could look better?

For some context, I'd imagine this character is a bounty hunter type, most likely having come from Hudson city (the main city depicted in dark champions) to track down some villanous targets.

As such, his costume wouldn't likely incorporate anything too sci fi nor would it use any "classical hero" type spandex (maybe later after incorporating elements of millennium city into his wardrobe._

That's actually a pretty good alteration of your original idea. It keeps the original idea of him being dark but the bright green manages to have enough visual pop without actually clashing. It could probably stand to have another color tossed in for a little more depth but it's probably fine as is.

I thought I would take a shot at this mate and it was fun. First I thought about the names that have been suggested by others in this thread and thought that bulgarex's "Fright Knight" was a good way to go. Bearing that in mind I went for a slightly more armoured suit, not power armour, more an enforced carbon fibre material to further develop the "Knight" part of his name. To be honest, the costume I designed was pretty heavily influenced by the Green Goblin too..........

The "F" at the beginning off his name was perfect for the belt too :-)

    Here's the costume file, mate.....

Nice, really like the creepy monster mouth, definatly projects the "fright" angle, how do I access the costume file exactly? I'm new here and I dont know for sure.

Also I already started playing this character as "Fright Knight" and even snagged the skeleton costume part and some extra costume slots as well, I'll post up some screenshots in a minute.

I believe you just copy the image and paste it in your Live Screenshots folder in your Champions online folder, or "Save as...." and do the same. Depends how you are viewing these forums.

http://i1134.photobucket.com/albums/m601/thetallyman/Fright Knight Classic_zpstputyoxj.png Alright so, first off I designed his standard "Fright Knight" costume, ended up caving and buying the skeleton tights, to admittedly good effect i'll admit (also I changed the pockets to what I assume are some kind of chemical round/pellets)

here we have his secret Identity, Silas G. Walker, corporate executive, I'd imagine using his corporate ties in lue of any specific detective skills, to cover the ground on various criminal activities.

http://i1134.photobucket.com/albums/m601/thetallyman/Fright Knight New Millenium work in progress_zpsdv4f8lvf.png and finally the one I'm least happy with, his "new millennium" outfit, in this case designed with what I imagine a champions variant might look like (in universe it'd be built with technology present in millennium city) Honestly, this is a work in progress Until I can get something better together (mostly its a miserably failed attempt at recreating elements of zeniths costume without any paid parts).
