Two New Rampage suggestions: Grond and High School hijinks

Hi New Dev Team,

I was headed out to the Burning Sands with a new alt and was watching the intro movie for the area narrated by Witchcraft when a thought popped into my head - why not have a Rampage with Grond at Project Greenskin? This also got me to thinking about other 'underused' map areas and the High School in Westside jumped to mind. Here's what I'd like to propose:

It Ain't Easy Being Green - VIPER has set a trap for Grond using the Project Greenskin base as ground zero. They have tricked Big Green into attacking the base, hoping the Primus soldiers there will weaken him to the point they can capture him (and of course Grond trashing the Primus soldiers is a bonus). The base calls for help from our heroes. Set up: Place Grond in the middle of the undamaged Greenskin base. Primus soldiers are surrounding him (with Grond possibly looking befuddled at his own statue - lol). The heroes arrive and the fight starts. Part way through, some Grondlings break loose/are freed from their cages and help their big brother. Just as the heroes are gaining the upper hand, VIPER shows up in force with a bunch of Grond Hunters and attack both the heroes and Grond. (This Rampage would be somewhat on the same power level as the Lemurian Invasion with its giant monster.)

Hi Pan's High School Hijacking Hijinks (aka Big Trouble at Westside High) - Everyone's favorite truck driver, Burt Jackson, is making a delivery of hot lunches to Westside High School in the Pork Rind Express. The Red Banner gang always looking to cause trouble and expand their turf decide to hijack the delivery and teach those High School brats that they are the ones who are in charge. Well, not if old Burt has anything to say about it, no sirree! He calls in the heroes for a helping hand. Well, the Gulfstreams and Hanmmerheads also aren't going to let a bunch of Red Banner goons muscle in on their turf - besides, they need lunch to give them energy for the big dance off against each other after school! For now they'll work together to help our heroes and Burt put the smack down on the Red Banner gang! That is until Hi Pan himself shows up, 'Really pissed off to no extent' at our heroes interference....

The best part is that both these Rampages use existing assets and existing maps, making it much easier for the dev team to implement.

(Another reason I thought of these Rampages is because Grond jumps around too much in the desert. I'd love to see him actually stick around to fight for once. It would be a first to actually see Primus and VIPER going toe to toe with Grond. Imagine a couple M-1 tanks and a bunch of troopers firing at Grond while the heroes fly about. Grond picks up a tank and swats at the heroes with it ('Hero punches feel like kitten hugs!'). The collateral damage breaks open the Grondling cages at the base, throwing Grondlings into the fray. Then VIPER shows up to finish their plan after they think Grond is weak enough - with an armored column - tanks, transports, and Grond Hunter troops. The ensuing brawl between Grond, Primus, Grondlings, and VIPER would be epic! All happening inside the 'stadium' that is Project Greenskin.

Holding Hi Pan's Hijinks at the High School was a thought because this place which is really well developed, but practically unused) and would be really fun setting - it's West Side Story meets Jack Bur...oops Burt Jackson. :biggrin: )
