(since the other thread for this started and is continuing with more drama than really was and is necessary, I thought I'd just post the following illustrations of the bug I would like to draw the Devs attention to here without anyone having to slog through petty back and forth flaming)
There's a bug that's just popped up with the latest patch that needs addressing - female tights patterns with bump-mapping that raises textures on the torso is instead recessing those textures, causing some very strange looking effects.
And it's not just happening on tights with skin. It's happening on many if not most skintight options.
Basically - any detail that should be raised ABOVE the level of the skin in order to help define a piece is now sunk INTO the skin as an indentation.
This image is a good close detail of the problem - look where the arrow is pointed. That indented section should be a raised section instead. (Oddly the part around the breasts is unaffected and still looks raised)
Most of my female toons have alt costumes that I can switch to in order to avoid the worst of this. But it is pretty annoying.
Here's a more subtle example of the problem. I almost didn't see this, but upon closer examination... yeah, it's there.
Here's an image I took a few days ago before the patch.
And just now - going back to the exact same location and angle, here's the same character exhibiting the glitch.
If you're not sure - bring up the two images in your viewer program and "flip" them back and forth and it will become obvious where the problem is.
The above comparison shots also serve as proof that this is a recent bug that's just occurred and not an ongoing bug that's been here for a long time. This literally occurred with the latest patch.
Really would appreciate a prompt response on this issue Cryptic. It's not a game-breaker for me, but it's definitely a real problem.

Remember when Arcane Tattoos Head lost the skin pattern a few months ago? A patch broke the costume, and well, that's it.

Thanks for the report. We're aware of this bug and working on a fix. We hope to get it out to you with next week's maintenance.
Also the very geometry is broken on female torso. It now clips with body armors.
It needs to be reverted to the old model.
"Inlay" lines were seam lines in plating.
"Padded Wedge" was, well, a padded edge on chest.
"Padded Plates" were also padded.
"Banded Basic" had seam lines, not tiny extruded ridges.
And the weirdest thing is, the "Padded Wedge" and "Padded Plates" are reverted on torso, but not on arms area.
Oh, and every single detail normalmap on "Tech Tights" Z-Store set is also reverted for females.
Odd. I did test this on PTR, and the geometry looked right there? Perhaps I didn't explore enough variations on sliders.
Latest game update has largely FIXED the female tights/skin contour bug!
