Hi, wondering if i can get some advice on this build

This is a Toon inspired by animes like Voltron and Mazinger Z

Level 6: Strength (Primary)
Level 10: Intelligence (Secondary)
Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

Talents:
Level 1: The Savage
Level 6: Negotiator

Level 23: Resurgence
Level 26: Unbreakable
Level 29: Ego Surge (Nimble Mind)
Level 32: Molecular Self-Assembly
Level 35: Chest Beam
Level 38: Rocket Punch

Travel Powers:
Level 6: Jet Boots (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 35:

Specializations:
Strength: Physical Peak (3/3)
Strength: Aggression (2/2)
Strength: Brutality (2/2)
Strength: Juggernaut (2/3)
Strength: Overpower (1/3)
Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
Vindicator: The Rush of Battle (2/3)
Vindicator: Mass Destruction (3/3)
Warden: Fortified Gear (3/3)
Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
Warden: Tenacious (2/2)
Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
Mastery: Strength Mastery (1/1)

- Last 2 powers were chosen for thematic reasons only, i'd like to keep them but i don't mind changing them for something more useful

- Questions: Is Overpower spec worth taking?, Or should i spend that point on Juggernaut instead and maybe gear for some Dex/Crit Chance?

Should i even worry about Critical hit chance on a build like this?

I intend to do PvE mostly and some tanking while on teams

Not many ways to effectively incorporate a basic blast like Rocket Punch into a melee build. Ya can make a hybrid build incorporating it ala a combo-blaster, or just save it for picking off far-off targets (it'll be pretty weak, but have long range).

    Anyways, slightly altering the build:

    PowerHouse (Link to this build)

    Super Stats:
    Level 6: Strength (Primary)
    Level 10: Intelligence (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents:
    Level 1: The Savage
    Level 6: Negotiator
    Level 9: Relentless
    Level 12: Quick Recovery
    Level 15: Body and Mind
    Level 18: Healthy Mind
    Level 21: Tireless

    Powers:
    Level 1: Bludgeon
Level 1: Cleave (Rank 2, Rank 3, Challenging Strikes)
Level 6: Eruption (Rank 2, Crippling Challenge)
    Level 8: Invulnerability (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 11: Enrage (Endorphin Rush)
    Level 14: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 17: Molecular Self-Assembly
Level 20: Energy Shield (Rank 2, Laser Knight)
    Level 23: Thunderbolt Lunge
    Level 26: Masterful Dodge
Level 29: Skewer (Rank 2, Rank 3, Follow Through)
Level 32: Ego Surge (Nimble Mind)
Level 35: Rocket Punch (Rank 2)
    Level 38: Rebirth

    Travel Powers:
Level 6: Jet Boots (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 35: Displacement Superspeed

    Specializations:
    Strength: Physical Peak (3/3)
    Strength: Aggression (2/2)
    Strength: Brutality (2/2)
    Strength: Juggernaut (2/3)
    Strength: Overpower (1/3)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Offensive Expertise (2/2)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (3/3)
    Warden: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: Tenacious (2/2)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Mastery: Strength Mastery (1/1)

    Last power can be w/e.

Still get some crit on the side- its a solid dps/threat increase (and Conviction can crit).

Thanks for answering, flowcyto, and like i said the only reason Rocket punch is on the build is for fun; and i still got some questions:

Do Endorphin rush effect still works without defiant stacks?, i don't see any power on either build that grants defiant

How reliable is MD by itself?, i have a level 40 Specialist and while it makes her a lot more survivable, i don't feel comfortable using it on a toon that doesn't has some Dodge/Avoidance built-in (Way of the Warrior, Lightning reflexes, Quarry)

Endorphin Rush's duration was changed from being scaled on Defiant stacks to being a flat 6 seconds. This happened back when they did the big Forms and Auras update.

EDIT: And MD is a good AO for any toon, regardless of your passive.

Yeah R1 MD still puts you well over 100% (actually >200%) dodge, and at about ~55% avoidance baseline- this is w/ just the base 10% dodge and 20% avoidance.

Although some avoidance can help it a bit (though its not really worth gearing around MD alone), having more base dodge doesn't actually help MD since it'd push you way past 100% regardless.

Its still quite good for any build that wants a reliable mitigation cooldown (and when combined w/ blocking is one of the few ways anyone can survive Gravi's yellow bubbles).
