...the Steel Samurai set is more or less what Istvatha V'han's D-Soldiers look like?

It's not like we're ever getting V'ha-related mission arc content (and if we do, it will no doubt be as poorly written as Fatal Error), but it's still a curious detail.

But I think their look is just generic sci-fi soldier theme, so they can have any costume as long as it's science-fiction'y enough.

Yes, this thing is very similar to Steel Samurai. Maybe concept artist was inspired by it?

BTW, it's also pretty picture on its own.
I recently saw both Bay City and New Millenium books and I can't believe how much better art quality an layouts were better in these older books. It actually had comic book feel.
