The fact that now all lockbox costumes are found as a single item tells us Cryptic learned from the big fiasco that was Socrates' lockbox, but still.... can we salvage that and put the costume for sale at the store? I don't think anyone managed to get the full costume!

A more likely place for it would be in the drifter's store, for salvage. That way you're still required to open lockboxes to get it. Personally, I'd put all the lockbox stuff in there after the lockboxes themselves go out of circulation.

I would be down for costume sets in lockboxes being available for sale much later. But the things is that C Store costumes and lockbox ones are held to completely different standards. And making the sets available later without gambling could easily jeopardize lockbox sales, the primary income for CO right now.

    Its a very delicate situation.

then drifter store it like suggested already on this thread?

This is really the best solution.

I won't say "the best" given my loathing for all things gambling, but sadly, it is the most feasible one, so I'd stand behind it provided it's the only feasible way (I only need the bottoms).

Wait, I thought they changed costumes in lock-boxes so that you got all the pieces at once. Was that only for the dinosaur costume?

Drifter sell costume unlocks piece by piece, and the Socrates costume was released piece by piece hidden inside lockboxes.

Pretty much all the costume packs in lockboxes from the dino costume on forward have unlocked the entire set all at once.
