I'm currently playing a munitions character with Ego as a primary stat and Dex/Rec as secondary stats. I've been having a hard time deciding if I want to grab Targeting Computer or Quarry for my toon.
Targeting Computer has a really cool looking animation which fits my character beautifully. It also increases my critical strike chance which is something that I love.
But I've also been having a really hard time staying alive. Quarry has audacity which gives me an increased chance to dodge. Now, coupled with my Bountiful Chi advantage which heals me every time I dodge, I was thinking that this would be a better investment. I was wondering if you guys thought the same way or if the synergy is actually pretty insignificant.
Note: Audacity does not increase dodge, just avoidance.
It seems your build has little INT to get higher stacks of INT/EGO. I suggest swapping out REC for INT as most munitions powers are very easy on energy anyways. Alternatively you could go Night Warrior or even Way of the Warrior which still buffs physical damage.
If you are still leveling and plan on retconning, there is a spec in Vindicator that heals on defeat of enemies. But there's nothing wrong with BCR w/RR, it just may be a little inadequate if you only have 22% dodge.
I'd consider r3 Quarry and at least one dodge mod the minimum I'd take BCR/RR for, unless you wanted to combo it w/ MD as a 'burst' heal when under rapid-fire.
Otherwise Muni is typically so energy efficient that affording Conviction isn't too bad w/o MSA+Int (esp w/ a good base crit rate as Conviction can crit; BCR/RR cannot). More Ego/Rec gives you better energy bursts from KI, and TC's increased crit (or more Dex) means more reliable KI procs as well, and also can boost holdout shot's stim pack crit a bit. For dps FF's I typically take at least one AD, one reg/small heal, and one threat dump- ya can always double-up on ADs if ya want more insurance.
Also, ya dun really need to SS Rec to get high energy equilibrium from it (my Muni toons use at most one high-ranked Rec mod in all their gear, and energy is rarely an issue). I'd switch that for Con SS if survival is more a problem. You don't need Int really at all if ur KI + Muni and not using Quarry.
Quarry goes good with most anything. I would recommend the Ego/Dex/Int or Ego/Dex/Con SS, as well. BCR is one of the best self-heals in the game, I think. Whether you take the RR advantage depends on build. If you are unsure, just go R3. For a bit more energy management, take the Force block (can't think of the name off-hand) with the advantage that makes it linger. That also gives you a bit more toughness.
