Laser Sword => choose a MA melee weapon? What?

Is it normal that when I choose Laser Edge as my energy builder, I have to choose a martial arts melee weapon? I thought I was using a laser sword?

    It's for the coloring. Since they don't have option for the Laser Sword. Or something.

    the color of the blade is affected by the power color choices not the tailor and as far as I've been able to determine, Finn, the tailor colors don't even affect the color of the hilt...but I'll run some more checks on that front and get back to you.
