Gravity Pulse when everyone is spread out chasing Exocets isn't so bad.
Gravity Pulse with a handful of vehicles on the ground groups is eye-strain and headache inducing to me and there were a number of people in the Ramplagers channel also talking about it.
Could the graphics of it be made less strobe like?
This is my Risian Corvette. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
That's true. I have it on my jet and it's terrible. Love the damage, but using it may give people seizures. Who was dumb enough to design this animation?
This FX needs to be either changed, or drastically toned down. This and Millenial Flight are good examples of extremely poor QA and design.
You do realise that some people playing this game can have seizures because of it, and it's not about aestehtics, but practical gameplay?
Utility over fluff.
Yeah I agree, I don't get a seizure over it, but it's way too harsh when you see it used constantly and among a lot of players at once.
I feel bad for those that have far more sensitivity than myself, cause it's really unexpected when it happens in game.
Millennial Flight could use a tone down.. I love the sparkle effect, but even most of the costuming community will tell you there a little glow goes a long way.

I solved the problem for myself, by turning my graphics down to minimum during the Lemurian Invasion. It helps with the lag too. Just offering that solution to anyone who suffers eye-strain or headaches, like I do.
Considering everything else they say at random... no, I seriously doubt they do.
From my experience, I'll tell you this. You are wasting your time addressing this person, seriously, don't make the same mistake I did.
Back to more interesting topics: I only used Grav Pulse once in Lemurian Invasion, it is a bit much I will agree.
If it is a health hazard as the quote above does say then clearly this needs to be addressed. (Note: I'm not doubting your statement of it being a health hazard.)
Yes. Very much so. I thought Harbinger fight was bad before with all the bright, pink neon horrors and powers. And now it just got worse. I turn my graphics down so I don't go blind, but I don't think it's working.
I agree that the gravity pulse power is especially bright, especially when your pulsing it. I use it myself on most vehicles(some use incendiary round, usually siege vehicles designed to blow things up from maximum distance), and I sometimes look away from the screen when doing so.
My TV is in the same line of sight as my screen so I've started just looking up and watching that while waiting for the explosions to say it is time to look for a new pack of Exocets. I've also started to only use it on ground groups when it looks like someone about to faceplant.
I play with a controller so I always love having a PBAoE to blow things up you can't tab target. Gravity Pulse just needs the graphics muted.

The episode is infamous for certain repetitive visual effects which induced photosensitive epileptic seizures in a substantial number of Japanese viewers, an incident referred to as the "Pok
I think grav pulse looks cool, but after 2-3 Lemurian Invasion runs with full grav pulse teams I get a bad headache and have to stop. I mean literally I have to take a break. That isn't hyperbole. Maybe I'm just old though.

You aren't the only one. I've ran LI so few times now because two or three runs is the most I can take before I have to lie down due to the eyestrain and headache caused.

If you've got a good maintained PBAoE (Lead Tempest, for example) getting in position, do your maintain, avert your eyes so you just watch for the flashes to move of elsewhere out of the corner of your eye. That should help for the ground combat.
For myself, the Exocets have enough space that there isn't a big cluster hug of pulses and for the Lemurian event I turn my graphics down anyways so the shortened render distance helps keep the eye/head strain down.
Unless I'm in a full vehicle run or private queue I don't use gravity pulse on the ground trash because the effects get so overwhelming when concentrated.
