Client Downloader Minus Arc??

Hi there,

I had a hard drive failure, and so had to reload the game. Only problem is that running through Arc, Champions server disco's like crazy! its pretty much unplayable.

When Arc first came out, I downloaded it and had the same problem, so I deleted Arc and just wen with running the Client solo and all was well.

Problem is, I can't find a download link anywhere to just the client without Arc. Does one still exist? does anyone have it? I was playing as recently as a week ago without having to log in through Arc with zero connectivity problems, and since having to DL Arc, its just nonstop Disco.

They removed in in favor of thier beutiful new arc launcher, you can still run the game, but you'll have no marketplace, in fact clicking the z store crashes me when I don't use arc

I have never experienced or heard of this happening. if it is occuring I hope you raised a ticket about it.

It is perfectly possible to have arc installed and run the game client seperately without running arc (atm - this is intended to change at some point in the future when individual launchers are integrated into Arc) - simply create a shortcut to your "C:\Program Files\Cryptic Studios\Champions Online.exe" or wherever it is installed on your PC and run that.

bonus from having arc atm - some free costume sets and 2 free hideouts can be claimed. get em while they are there and then forget about arc if you dont want to use it meantime.
