    I've found its entirely possible to PvP with just Psi Lash, you just will not win. :biggrin:

    Oh I get it, it's that thread again: omg my pre alert builds are no longer competitive I die in bash because of devices the winners are sore losers with no theme , bad costumes and copied builds!
    Enjoy it, it really helps PvP and the game grow.
    Then, when you see every PvPer that was good left the game, go PvP and wiiiin!

    'Coz i'm 90% sure that's what you'll do. Previous examples show that.

    So yeah, fill threads with memes to discourage every PvPer.

    I actually haven't PvPed in months, I'm just making fun of what the Hero Games forums have devolved into. :3

    (well, that's a lie, i have dueled within the last three months at least once, so that totally makes me a qualified source of PvP information)

    In truth, I actually think the state of PvP is deplorable not because of the lack of balance, but the lack of incentive to become competitive. If there isn't a carrot at the end of the stick (like awesome PvP gear pre-On Alert, hello Eagle rifle and gear slightly better than PvE gear <3) then I'm not going to bend over backwards to try to compete and win. G-crush's initial goal was to make PvP not worth grinding, and he has succeeded. :S In my opinion, if we had shinies worth fighting for, PvP would be a lot more popular. Until then, MEMES.

    I was told by someone that I greatly respect to avoid these forums for the very thing I am about to do, but I can't just let some random person that wants to PvP and might be reading this thread think there is no hope for melee or deviceless players in PvP.

    My score in the last game of bash I was in was 10-0 with a full-on melee build, no devices, mediocre gear, and I am still fairly new to this. I will account part of my "success" to everyone deciding to attack those that they have grudges on despite a random like me being in the lead the whole time. The sad part was that the only things I saw were ice grenades, npg, dinos, and strafing runs flooding my screen.

    The people in there weren't anyone to mess with either. BlackGate (the one who won the game of bash in Jewel's video), Imp, Aret_f, and you-guess-who were all there. I doubt I'd be able to replicate what I did anytime soon, but saying PvP is doomed to devices and copybuilds is foolish.

    Devices Doomed ! are kind of faith without any evidence cause we have to "click" it and while we are using devices, that means we can't use any other powers. (Except for something like Pheromones and Elder Worm Humidity Dome) so you can work well without any Devices if you have some good build. And that's the reason I said 5 Eruption lame for me.

    Bunch of devices makes too much icons to click so it becomes hard to control and confusing sometimes.

    Copy builds are bit lame but we still have variations of builds as you can see. Some are squishy some are low-DPS but the most important thing is to enjoy our selves.

    If you need something funny in B.A.S.H., I'll spam you my Megalodon Chum. xD

    For me, [Prototype Psi Bomb] - Reduces all foes in a given area into protoplasmic slime, stripping away all resistance to Psionic/Mental/Ego Damage :biggrin:

    oh and it has an awesome graphic which actually transforms foes :D

    LOL. So funny. And a lot of it is SPOT on! Devices in PvP or duels are lame as hell IMO.
    But to each their own. Just don't say you're a great or good pvper, please.
    If you "NEED" devices to win...you are not very good. Period.

    If you can win without those "Leg ups" then hey you earned it. Now, doesn't that feel better?
