Put the Loot Tables for Takofane's Boxes Back

Just like the title says. I have no issue with there not being anymore Takofane boxes but, think it was a mistake taking the loot table out of the game and removing the chance to get the special items from those boxes.

I can understand that the devs would want people to open the tank lockboxes instead but, I have no interest at all in getting a tank. I don't care about getting a become either tbh. What I want is drifter salvage and 4 slot gear. By removing the Takofane loot table from the game, you've removed any chance of me getting that 4 slot gear and I'm completely unwillig to spend money on keys just so I can get drifter salvage considering it would cost me around $30 just to get one costume piece unlock.

In short, put the loot table back if you want any chance of getting my money.

They seriously need to have a way to get salvage other thna lockboxes, even if its a zen store purchase just for salvage. Lots of people have no interest in lockboxes and so PW are losing this potential income.

The legion gear should be added to either the nemesis vendor or questionite store - both seriously need something goo adding to them, since they have been practicaly abandoned since creation (other than the occasionalt travel power and years old items that can be gotten elsewhere cheaper)

Just buy the Tako Boxes from the AH, there's plenty there because some people have thousands of them like myself.

You're missing the point. I have plenty of Takofane's lockboxes. They're now essentially worthless because you can no longer get the gear or becomes from them. All you can get out of Takofane's lockboxes now that are of any value are mods and drifter salvage.

I can't verify it 100% but, the loot tables in the Takofane's boxes have been changed. I also asked Cryptic directly in one thread where they were talking to us if the Takofane's lockboxes would keep their loot tables. As far as I know, that question went unanswered.

I would also like confirmation on this, since those things are the reason I've stored Takoboxes. Indeed, they're the only reason I've bought keys in the first place.

I just went to verify this in case it was and I missed it and that question was never answered.

We should post a thread in the Champions Discussion titled "Don't Use your Keys on Tako boxes" since they no longer drop their full rewards anymore. Its the only way to get their attention.

I usually open enough tako boxes to get 2 legacy devices on the weekend after farming some Q all week, but now I feel lazy so I'll buy some keys and see what I get... maybe I'll get lucky hehe.

I have a few hundred T-boxes stored up, to either sell in the AH or unlock if I came across the money for it. Under this circumstance, neither seems feasible.

I'll tell you what, Cryptic: if you get this rectified before I find a way to get the money from my wife's final paycheck, I'll use some of that money to buy two sets of 10 keys right away.

I was able to get 60 keys with some Q + $ and I opened 60 Tako Boxes on live. I got the regular things, mods/xp-boost/resource-boost, some crafting skill ups, and one green lock box gear kit. The kit had a Mercenary's Gloves of Offense and some mods.

Guys, their tables are unaltered. Them not dropping their loot any more is a rumor. They drop all the same things they have since they launched.

I somehow managed to end up with 666 takoboxes in my account bank leftover, if anyone wants a few hundred, lemme know, I sure as hell don't need them.

[Presence Armoring 7]x5
[Presence Enhancement 7]x2
[Ego Armoring 7] x5

Ravenforce, are you listing just the mods? According to the list that shows up if you hover over the boxes themselves, 5x rank 7 mods come with either Halloween Becomes+gear, Doomlord+ gear or just gear. (same on the list on the website.)

There is another thing that makes me wonder about the Tako Boxes: Some I have on my chars were converted into something simply called [Treasure Box], while others weren't. These Treasure Boxes are bound to my account, so no trading possible. And I wonder if they have different loot tables.

Treasure boxes are a different drop all together that you got from trick or treating. There's still ways to get those in game.

Maybe the loot table hasnt changed, but you certainly change the odds of different items within that loot table, meaning you dont need to remove something to have the equivlent effect, just turn the chance of it dropping down to virtually nothing.
