Questionite Grind

I'm currently at that stage of the game where I'm looking to grind questionite. The only thing is I'm not sure how exactly to go about it. I know you get questionite from daily alert quest, comic series and the UNTIL missions. I believe you also get them from lairs as well. My character is currently at level 31, so I'm not sure which is a good way to go about this. My other thought is that my character might still be to low in level, and needs to go up to lv. 40 before grinding questionite. How do you guys go about it ?

Your best bet is to simply focus on alert dailies. You can do a full set, even the non-smash ones. often faster then lairs or APs.

Currently you can also do really well doing the destroyer daily. Its faster then a smash daily and the same Q payout.

Lairs, Daily Alerts, Adventure Packs, some bosses in mission chains, and Nemesis.

Main sources of Q. I can usually get about 4k per character I play a day, and that's after doing the Unity dailies and whatnot.

Look for Nemesis Dockside Alerts .. if they are up farm them.

Else .. create more characters and take the Smash Daily whenever it is up

Also .. you could still do Freon runs.

The dailies are first choice and can do them twice a day (they reset at 5pm and 1am server time) netting 4k

After that at the moment is the drifter daily for another 2k

next check the time bonus for questionite hour, click J and scroll along the time bar to look for the questionite bonus that drops it from all mobs.

There is also stoey questionite 3 hour bonus time that drops it from all mobs in an adventure pack/comic series, which themselves give another 2k, serpent lantern is best as get several questionite boxes as well

For alerts, even if finished with the daily look out for nemesis alerts, they always give a questionite box if you win as well.

All of these can be done from low levels (minimums 6 for alerts but wouldnt recommend below about 12, and adventure/comic from 11 minimum).

Keep in mind you can only refine 8k questionite a day, but you can grind more and refine excess you accumulate on days you cant or dont feel like grinding it.

My tip for silvers is first thing you should grind for is the two extra toon slots its a big grind but worth it.

Once you have four toons grinding becomes easier you've doubled your grinding powers .

A really long delayed reply, but a few questions that have popped up in my mind.

    1. how do you tell a nemesis alert from the normal alerts ?

    2. What is a freon run ?

Nemesis Alerts are the ones with a type of shadowy figure in them - since the alert picks a player's nemesis, they won't display on the alert picture.

Freon is a supervillain in the Serpent Lantern adventure pack - he's in one of the bunkers there.

Nemcon Q runs will yield some serious amounts as well as decent payouts in mods and gear. It also seems to me to be the funnest of the choices.

Unless you have multiple characters, you only can get 8K per day, which comes very fast with the combination of Alerts, Drifter, and Comics.

bunker 2. He's laughably easy, and if you swap between 2 characters, you can cap your q refinement in about 15 minutes. Just spank him, log out, log into your other toon, spank him, log out, etc...

I did this for STO. It lost it's magic once I was able to make my captain look like William Shatner.

I have five slots because of that event way back when. If I did PUGs or could stand the idea of doing Serpent Lantern again just to get to Freon, I'm pretty sure I'd be up to my ears in Zen.

The folks with a small army of alts could probably buy everything ever sold in this game.

So what I'm saying is, Silvers should take your advice if they have lots of time on their hands like I did.
