Character Creation & Zen

I've downloaded Champions Online and tried making a character. I've made it to the 'start playing' part, but it's asking me to purchase some armor with Zen. I've charged what I believe is enough Zen, but it's not showing up on my screen. I tried transferring Zen to the game, but at "select server", it don't give me any options. I'm at a loss here.

I'd try leaving character creation and starting over to see if that fixes it, but then I'd lose all of my customizations.

Help please. :frown:

First off, you can hit the button on the bottom of the screen to hide all parts you don't own, thus, you don't have to make any purchases yet. Since I'm assuming you're silver and you've obviously not played the game yet I'd put off actually making any purchases until you know you like the game or not.

Second, to have the Zen show up on your account you have to log out and log back in, as the instructions when charging Zen say. Not only that, but after you buy the Zen you have to transfer it to the Champions Online server for your account, under the My Wallet option.

Third, to be able to log out and log in again with your costume, hit the small 'Save' button underneath the character creator. That saves the costume as a .png file in the games folders, and when you start up the character creation system again you can click 'Load' to open up a saved costume.

Ah, that seems reasonable. I'll try that.

    Thanks!

Edit: Does the save button save backstory and all too?

Not that I recall. Try opening up a Notepad file and just pasting it into there to hold it for a bit.

I am in the same boat he is in but it is just not working for me. I believe I made a character just so I can get in game and when I try to transfer my zen to him. It will not transfer whatsoever. I've tried logging in and out and that hasn't worked at all. Please help? I've looked everywhere and just can not find a solution.

I think you need to have at least one character at level 10 or above to be able to transfer zen to CO
