Electro Flight

is the Electro Flight animation working correctly? From the youtube video I watched (posted in April 2012) there is electrcity all around you when you activate this power. However, when I activate on my character, I see no electricty. It looks like regluar flight mode with no effects.

What graphics settings do you play the game on? Sometimes effects aren't visible on lower settings.

yeah, sorry meant to update earlier...I switched some settings around and I see it now. Thank you for the response.

I just saved up and bought it...my settings are reasonable and I am able to see a few wisps of electricity, none like I expected to, which is a shame. I am on regular settings btw

The electric effects are much more decent than on Stormrider, the old crafted Travelpower.
However i also bought it for 100k even since i have Stormrider

While hovering yeah the electrics are a fair bit understated, while moving it looks fantastic in my view. When going up or down a rank of speed from going into and out of combat though the huge flash can get a bit hard on the eyes if i'm a bit tired.

Overall i was worried from the vid and pics but in-use i'm really enjoying it, so much so that i'm hardly using my original jetpack.

Yeah .. the constantly flashing really gets annoying after a while especially in instanced missions :redface:
