Eyebeams are OP.

I have noticed a few things in my one day of experience in T2 ZA

Eyebeams are OP.

I talked to the PvP community, which is my friend who once killed an inferno with swords, and he said that Eyebeams are OP. so they are.

If you'll look at the eye beam page, you can see that eye beams do almost 65 DPS. This needs to be nerfed because I want to keep my PvE build even when I'm PvPing, 65 Damage is just too much to fight against. Whereas a Minigun/Pestilence/Ranged DPS build hits only at about 1,000 DPS AoE. This is ridiculous, Eyebeamers are making PvP terrible.

In PTS I got an amazing 720 damage with: Enraged, AoPM, Lightning Form, Ebon Destruction, Electric Sheath, Ranged DPS, 250 Dex, 100 Int, 100 Ego. With this tiny amount of buffs, anyone could easily spike for 720 damage.

Eyebeams are also OP because they even generate energy! It doesn’t show it on the CO-wiki page because Cryptic is conspiring against free wiil, free power building, and puppies, but It’s true, I read it on a 100% accurate tooltip on PTS, it cost around -0.21 energy to activate, so obviously it generates energy. Whereas, regular slotted energy builders, such as steady shot only return 30% energy

Eyebeams are also AoE, look at that, a 1 foot cylinder that is insane, you could hit almost any set of targets if they all lined up and stopped moving.

Eyebeams also deal piercing damage after standing there for 5 seconds. That means you can build for either Particle or Piercing damage, which is obviously better…

    This is silly.. They're gonna be so many Eyebeam based builds now that you've shown everyone just how over the top it is.. Fffs.. Now I have to make a counter.. -.-

    Me thinks you confused Eyebeams with Dragon's Wrath there for a moment.

    Thanks for posting OP I really enjoyed this.
    With this tiny amount of buffs, anyone could easily spike for 720 damage.
    As much as that, how awesome!

    Tactical counter measures.... may I suggest laugh or cry mode or both!

    You seriously think Eye Beams are OP compared to Vapor Form? I once cleared Teleios' Bathroom with nothing but Vapor Form. Solo.

    I'm just now trying to clear out Sapphire's Bathroom by using Vapor Form and I'm now soloing, I'll report this in youtube...:eek: Eeeeeek!!!!

    Have you actually burned someone down with eyebeams in PvP? Cause there might be a perk for that.

    If eye beams are OP,just imagine your opponents who one shot k.o u with 10k -24k crits by using sniper powers.This is just like playing counterstrike lol!

    Notice how Mr Archived Post explicitly states that....
    Eye Beams is a pretty core power for Power Armour, nice damage (probably too much)
