Was just curious if this might be feasible. Basically add in the ability to perform a critical invention and make a better then normal item. Extra charges, higher stats, lower level cost, etc. The chance to critical would be based on the item's level compared to your own level in crafting.
For instance a healing patch with 1 charge that normally heals for 500 might instead be made with a 1000 point heal, or 2 or 3 charges instead. This woudl help add variety because right now everyone's items are identical to what everyone else can make.
