Sensible question here: where to farm?

Okay, so with all the frickin' melodrama on the forums, I'm going to just be nice and keep it to the point. Namely, I'm having a little trouble finding components in the post-vault Desert . My character is Science oriented and got started a little late on the crafting. One solution is for me to go to Canada, since I haven't gone there yet, and do my farming there. But, aside from that, can anyone enlighten me on possible places in the post-vault Desert to farm Science components?

Thanks in advance!

You've turned on the minimap display of the Discovery Nodes, right? :)

I'm not sure where is good, but I'm sure other folks know, I just grab stuff as I run by it. :) I love the ones in places that I am clearing for a Mission already.

This is actually very common, that I've found. I've not put forth any effort to farm mats yet, and my bank is filled to over flowing.

Yes its fewer nodes then in CB at the start and the Crisis is mainly found in the Examine device around the pylon and machines the scared scientist are rescued from..

The Mystic toon is at an early advantage because of the skeletons on the Work level left out of the elevator with the railing facing GRonds broken statue. next tier down best and lowest right ground level area

you find Prof Dupree and Alexander on Post Crisis in a less rewarding area. Until you are out of the safe zone in Burning Sands deconstructing is the way to go.

The Map is so neat beat the old /harvest nodes 0 commands Showing.. I goofed my filter up.. between toons for a different priority.. MAybe a more contrast for a Glowie on them.. usually trained to hop my furry over like a maze mouse after cheese. but if the contrast is just so you don't get the flicker like a good Radiated skeleton gives you to Que on. Arms you have rifle/guitar hardshell around trucks.. But less SCi crates now I think. Apologies, Have to survey it again Saturday. I tend to look less at the UI to avoid ambushes.

Generally not the same for farming here to be a Crafter.. spreads out actually more evenly and say not in one pile for every frame works fav School and you just grab yours,, the irony here is in the mine Missions your rarely find components..

Uranium Flats is ok i n the Bomb cases.. in CN they start you out with the satellite Field of plenty then it goes away figuring its they for the Craft the Contrivance mission and every ones gonan want one or two nodes then they deactivate later.. and spreat out to increase difficualty in Post Crisis in general.

Of course there would be a filter for showing component locations ;) I've been so busy figuring out gameplay online the thought to actually dink with the map hadn't hit me yet. Will do. And thanks, SenshiBat, as well!

Well, what is your Science level? Generally, there is a ton of stuff in Burnside and the Irradiate areas for starting Science professions.
