When going to buy a perk or craft titems like new weapon models or costume pieces, is there a way to preview what I'm buying before using the resources or plunking down the perk points?
Like, what does the blunderbuss gun model look like? And what does the Mantle of Rectal Fortitude look like? Is it a cape? A shoulder thing?
Some way to preview these items might be appreciated (if I'm not missing the feature already there).
i just got the 1000 viper kills and decided to buy the cape for that perk thinking that it was some kind of new and exciting cape. WRONG... same ol' plain **** cape with a f'n snake head on it. i was disappointed.
yeah same here Im sick of buying a diffrent gun or carbine in the costume shop not even knowing what it looks like. I have to run off and shoot at something to see what my new weapon looks like. Then spend more resources to try out the other versions. And forget about even trying to change the weapons colour. That would take 4 or 5 trips to the costume shop Just to find out which of the 4 colour boxes changes what part of the weapon colour scheme.
The devs know about the fact that the costume builder doesn't show weapon options. It annoys me too (working on a munitions hero), hopefully it will get fixed soon.
This thread is more about the inability to see what a costume unlocking perk/item looks like before even buying it and visiting the tailor. WoW and EQ2 etc. have a wardrobe or changing room option to preview what items look like on you before wearing/wielding, this would be a similar feature for outside the tailor.

I could donate a few crafts to the cause...
Like CTRL + First Mouse Button - Shows your char wearing the costume or weapon!!
Please implement some sort of preview for all costume parts granted through perks AND items.
