Flaming Pumpkin Build?

I understood that flaming pumpkin turns fireball into a toxic power so with that in mind I did this build. Any advice appreciated:

    Iirc, the device deals Toxic dmg directly, but when charged (and w/ Fireball learned) it will leave a Pyre Patch behind that deals Fire dmg. That means that the Pyre Patch from Incendiary Grenade's ground adv can be a bit redundant. That aside, the build looks okay, considering the concept. Its single-target dmg won't be that strong, though iirc Fireball's dps is a good deal stronger than the device's, so you could always fall back to using R3 Fireball if you want a bit more overall dmg.

    It's an okay build, though I'd prob add Fire Snake back in to help further boost Fireball's dmg (prob instead of Gas Pellets or Concussion Grenade).

    I can't test it atm, but the new variant device looks like it deals Magic dmg (and some Toxic dmg via Deadly Poison), so Fiery Form and Fire debuffs prob won't boost it. It is only one small component of your overall dmg, though, so you could still use the device if you like it enough. I also assume that you'd want R3 in Flashfire for it (if it works like other variants).

    So NW for passive, Conc or Chilled form and what would I use for EU?

    Assuming you are still using the other powers, you should still have some sources for Thermal Reverb to proc in the background, but Mephitic is another possibility w/ the device, I suppose.

    Your single-target dmg would prob go up a bit by making Incinerate your main single-target attack, but you'd lose the option to have a strong AoE stealth opener by ditching RThrow (though another option is ditching the AO). It's ultimately up to you on which power choice to make.

    Update on my flaming pumpkin/cauldron fire build. I chose Soul Beam instead of Rthrow to proc Bane with Cauldron Fire and for a solid single target. With Bouldero and Firefight I dont have many problems with AOE/locking things down. I chose Guard over Voodoo Doll to use Broom as a blocking weapon and I chose Ego Surge as it ups damage and Ego skyrockets from 665 to 750+ giving me damage, energy reduction, crit, and some other fun stuff. So far it's worked out well.

    Yea, that build edit looks fine overall (though I'd prob pickup Focused Strikes in Vind for Soul Beam). You can also consider getting an Ult instead of the AO, but that's up to you.
