Gadgeteering Pet/Solo/Support build

Hi everybody.

I'm trying to make a build that is capable of running stuff solo, with pets, and that can also provide some support, occasionally.

Hm, well this build is pretty similar to ones this recent thread; I may give it a read through if you want more info:

Anyways, it may be tricky to proc Compassion here. I may throw in an Illumination_rune effect (like Medical Arrow's adv, which is nice for Tech builds) to help w/ that in combat (and the Illum debuff can also count as a Curse to easily roll Conjuring- or you could just get MSA). I would prob also get your own AoE attack (which can be a number of different things), instead of a weak R1 Active Offense (Elec Sheath). I also wouldn't put as high of a priority on ranking some pets, to save some adv points for other powers, and would prob also get Commander for one of the spec trees. For example:

You can go back to Implosion Engine as the Ult if you don't have Mech Monstrosity.

You'll generally want to keep Medical Arrow up for the background healing, for Conjuring, and to help proc Compassion. PBR is still the main single-target attack here, while charges of Ricochet Throw can be the main AoE. A normal heal like Arcane Vit may not even be needed here, and then you could get something else in there instead (like another pet power, a threat wipe, an ally- or self-res, etc).

You could also take a different AoE attack than Ricochet Throw- like Sonic Boom Gen, Elec Current, SMG Burst_Bullet Hail, Storm of Arrows, etc. The build also can be played in either the Support or Hybrid roles (Hybrid can net you more overall personal dps for stuff like soloing, though your ally/pet support aspects will be weaker). Regardless, the build gears mostly for Pres, w/ some Con and Int.

I really like the reasoning behind it and the changes. Thanks a lot! I'll give this a try.
