When a player reaches level 40 it's a monumental achievement, especially if you grind your way to the top. There's still a lot to accomplish such as missions and gaining new loot to optimize your toon/character. But leveling is over, any experience gain goes nowhere, until now. Imagine if you could transfer excess XP to a different character on the same account? How? Through the W.O.W. (Well of Wisdom), a station/console that appears within a User's HIDEOUT when they reach level 40. Depending on the type of HIDEOUT the station/console may appear as a Wishing-Well, or high-tech transference station/chair. If a level 40 character has stored up XP (indicated by an addition in the HUD) the player can take this character to a W.O.W. and unload the stored XP; maybe at a (gold) cost; or even a minimal ZEN amount (1 ZEN per. use). Once the player has unloaded the stored XP the player can switch-over to a different character that isn't at level 40 and transfer a selectable amount of XP over. Now things can made fair by creating a new XP channel for level 40 characters that maxes and remains maxed until relieved (at a W.O.W. station) AND/OR this new XP channel begins at level 6 and levels and gains experience like a regular character; BUT does not affect the level 40 character, OR the XP gained in this new XP channel is half of what would normally be gained. This feature would entice players to make more characters, invest more into costumes, etc. It's like the level 40 character becomes the master, and can transfer his knowledge to lesser characters via this device.
