Why do I keep losing connection?

Since the last patch (9/18) I have been unable to stay connected for more than a minute at a time, and when I am connected I get hit by snrs so I can barely do anything. I never had anything like this before, and no other games or functions on my computer are affected. Why is this happening and how can I make it stop?
